During the Rocks War, he fought with Whitebeard and opened up his eyes too his Captains cruelty, giving them the victory needed for Captain Roger too end Xebec once and for all. Currently, he protects the Strawhat Pirates from the Shadows, knowing deep in his heart Luffy will inevitably be King of the Pirates.

Im rewatching One Piece currently and am now at episode 29 where there has just been a pandaman sighting, so I watched this video. But I could swear there was a scene were a treasure chest droppened and a panda head or plushie, definitely something small, fell out of it. I would guess it was in the Syrup Village arc on that hill but I could be wrong
