"Time remaining" - is that a feature of your radio? Which radio are you using?

Sounds like he is using a Spektrum Transmitter. I have a Spektrum DX8 G2 and it has that same option. The voice sounds identical hence, why I think it is a Spektrum transmitter.

How do you turn AS3X off? You do mean AS3X and not SAFE correct?
@captainbob4065 жыл бұрын
AS3X and SAFE are pretty much the same thing. It is stabilization while plane is in flight. You can program your transmitter to switch AS3X on and off or even from one of 3 modes (using a 3 position switch)

@@captainbob406 AS3X and SAFE are completely different. Don't spread false information please.

Conceptually, they are similar...."AS3X is a 3 axis gyro system, meaning that if an outside force (like wind) knocks the plane off course, the gyros will compensate for this and put the plane back on course. But, if you move a the sticks of the radio, it will let the plane change to your new course. This system allows a RC plane to fly in heavier winds than without AS3X.SAFE is the same thing as AS3X, but SAFE has an accelerometer, which brings in self leveling. SAFE also has flight modes and, sometimes, a Panic switch. A switch on your transmitter will activate Panic mode, which automatically brings your aircraft to level flight!"

@@captainbob406 SAFE is well more advanced compared to AS3X, in terms of the amount of control it allows the pilot. Self leveling, bank limits and what not, makes it completely different. You can tell when a plane is flying with safe, AS3X is just as you said, a wind stabilizer.

You read my description.. Again, I said they are similar in concept. I was speaking at a high level. Not sure why you are rat holing this.

I wouldn’t keep gas engine for that long in the air on maiden flight
