I highly doubt that with a flashback like this setting up how fucking beast Linlin was at 5, that she's going to be defeated now. I more think one of 2 things will happen. -Capone will be killed, Luffy will get away by a thread -Capone will be intimidated and run away, forcing Luffy to run away after a short fight with Linlin. The first option is less likely because Oda doesn't just kill off characters, but it shows that BM has her badass insane strength still.

I believe that is a giant tree on elbaf, theres a silhouette of it last chapter. I think that tree will be used to build pluton. My guess is that Mother Caramel will jump infront of the sword swing and kill herself protecting Linlin. The trauma of seeing Mother Caramel slain will snap Linlin out of her rampage.
