I've been saying this for awhile, but IMO Brook's soul is a substitute for Haki, but not as limited. Everybody has a soul in OP, evident by BM's df, so him being able to attack souls directly could be his CoA and his obstinate soul is his CoC. Gaining premonitions and seeing auras is pretty much synonymous with souls.
