Man I don't care what anyone says, thats how a battle is supposed to be...both picked up their games after each spit hot verses, no slip-ups, mad multis and overall dope battle. Not saying it was one of this world, but you can't say you didn't enjoy it. Very, very close battle but I actually like Pigsty 2-1 (i see most people going with Soul, and i can understand that as well), I though Pig took 1st and 3rd, Soul 2nd...Pigstys multis in the first and 3rd were absolutely crazy, Soul had some hay-maker lines as well.

Soul is the fucking man that second round is so well written and constructed, the inside jokes, the flip, the rhymes, the references and punchlines, the personals. dope! Pigsty surprised me overall but didn't get it. I remember hearing something like something happened right before this battle at the event and made the vibe really weird and that explains some of the odd vibe in the room. Anyone know about this? As people able to watch on youtube, we forget that these are performances in a room of real people and that things before battles and occurrences can affect the one-take-one-shot immortalized performance that is the battle itself. Either way, this was great, the audio quality was rough but the lyricism made up for it!

Great matchup.. These dudes are very similar in their writing styles. Soul is clearly more polished but I had Pigsty with a slight edge going into the third, soul just took over in the last round
