I’d recommend doing a crit version. And, from my testing, superheated plasma does not work with the lances because the damage is snap shotted… and not reactive. Also Lethal Finish does not work with it anymore either unfortunately. Many characters can use the crit bonus, and many classes can increase the raw damage. Using “passionate sponsor” on any class that can give any kind of buff to other players can also greatly increase this weapon’s damage by using Passionate Sponsor… like Yujin, Ajax, Kyle, Luna, Freyna, Jayber, (maybe Enzo, but haven’t tested PS on him yet). And then other characters that can boost their firearm damage are going to compliment that crit chance and crit damage very well…. Like Sharen, Hailey, Blair, Enzo, Valby(additionally with status effect chance too), Lepic. (I haven’t used Gley, Keelan, Viessa to definitively know if they got something that increases firearm attack or has a buff to allies to use Passionate Sponsor. And cold damage is definitely my personal preference… better for defending, better for CC, slowly enemies down. I use this weapon religiously. And currently, no class can do both passionate sponsor and be a firearm build. But if we did have that then the that could be the best descendent to use with the King’s Guard Lance. So super rounds do work, but you have to be actively shooting an enemy long enough to build the stacks and then instantly shoot the ground. It’s just not practical. And yeah, lethal finish doesn’t work… they nerfed two months ago. Sweeping Squad does work well though, just wait for the stacks to build before replacing new turrets.

Superheat plasma work on this gun? Thought it wouldn't work because the beam spread over every target inside area so I assume the buff will fell off.

I will do some furhter testinng to be sure but it appeared to be working initially in testing.

@@twoolefarts it works but you got to hip fire it at a target that can live long enough to build the 20 stacks and then you got to shoot the ground while aiming to place the turret. And the damage difference isn’t that substantial to go through the hassle of that in a practical scenario in which you’d use this weapon.

@@twoolefarts Definitely consider the new weapon core mechanic that the update just introduced. Maybe staking fire rate is best to that the status effect happens even more often to perma freeze targets with chill mod.

Sure but any other descendant can lock things down using this.

I like to use this gun on any descendent with lack of good aoe option like Enzo, Haily, Sharen before new aoe mod came out. Always used this in Kinston normal special operation and it can take me at least to 6 round with no problem while leveling low lv descendent. The 7-10 require more effort on pt though, easier with Frayna but can't expect to get carry by Freyna when you leveling other descendent.

Just cranked this one out while on the road and didnt have my normal setup but I really do appreciate the feedback it means a lot and we really do this for the views since we are not monetized.
