Wow, the season is here again! I have been looking forward to this video for a long time! The Racer looks like it hasn't slowed down a bit. Stinks that the rain had to come. But this is what gives your videos that extra edge. The Beast, I wish I could take a ride on it right now. I guess the SOB is still out of action for another season Bob? I would love to go some day. I'm from the western side of Michigan and I'm rarely ever able to make the trip to even Cedar Point. Lots of great parks within reasonable driving distance, Cedar Point, Kings Island, Great America, Canada's Wonderland, I just wish one was close by. Michigan's Adventure is too family oriented... not enough thrills.

I was there 11am - 10pm. Yes, the FOF line was long as well as some others early on, but late in the day things got much better.

I moved away from Ohio about 3 years ago. We used to love coming to Kings Island :') I miss being here and riding my favorite ride, Diamondback. The last day we came, there weren't any lines for DB, so I rode it over and over. Man I love Ohio... :'(

I haven't been on other B&M hypers, so I can't really compare (I don't travel much!) but I was very impressed with the video I saw of Goliath. I used to stay away from FOF because the harness was very uncomfortable. I like it a lot more now with the new harness...I just don't ride it much because there's usually a long line!

Love Kings Island! Going this weekend with some friends! Very clean park, awesome rides, awesome people. I've only had one probably, and it was last year on the Vortex. Going up the first hill, I noticed my safety harness/belt was super loose, and luckily checked it. My buckle hadn't clicked, and everyone around me was freaking out. They didn't stop the ride, but I got it buckled. I'm not saying this to scare anyone, just make sure to be extra observant on busy days!

@Hank3666able The Deliruim wasn't closed at the beginning, I went at the end of May and it was opened but my cousin went just a few weeks ago and she said it was having technical difficulties. I don't know how much longer it will be closed... I hope it will open soon because I'm going later this year

Thanks! Yeah, I know I shouldn't be filming in Boo Blasters, but I don't use the LCD screen so I won't bother other guests, and I only post a few seconds of it. They're much more concerned about filming on thrill rides, which I don't do.

A lot of changes. The crypt being gone and Invertigo painted to look like stinger at Dorney. The music on the train is different and it is a whole different atmosphere after 40 years. We will never forget the past 40 years that the park has brought to all of us. I will always miss the old kings island and I will always keep it close to my heart. Both rides' lines are usually a bit long for me, so I don't ride them all that often. I really like FOF and will ride it over & over if there's no line. Firehawk on the other hand is probably one of my least favorite coasters. I prefer a more traditional sit down experience.

I always go on opening day. We rode Diamondback and left in 2012 lol. We were freezing when the ride was over, so we went home and came back the following Saturday. It was a little nicer, but my wife was sick. So we left after a couple hours. I don't think we spent an entire day at KI last year. We spent alot of time at Cedar Point, though. Opening day at CP was alot of fun, but Millennium was down most of the weekend.

Vortex is An Arrow designed by Ron Toomer, it replaced The Bat which was also an earlier Arrow but had multiple mechanical problems and was way before its time. Arrow i also designed Big Bad Wolf, Iron Dragon, Shockwave, Anaconda and Top Gun (Now Flight Deck) to Name a Few..I believe Face Off or Invertigo as its now called is a Vekoma design. Hope this helps

The best thing to do is... When you go to Kings Island when it's opening day ride Drop Tower first to get THE BEST stomach feeling ever!!

Nice. If ridden at night, Beast is easily the best ride there. Do you think Diamondback is as good as other B&M hypers? (i.e. Nitro, Goliath) And your opinion of Flight of Fear? For me it comes as a solid 3rd after Beast and Diamondback.

You should visit Dorney Park. It is a mighty fine park for how small it is. It is NEVER crowded unless you visit Saturdays in Late June- August.
