Kings Island OPENING DAY 2015

Opening day at Kings Island, 2015! Two new rides this year: Woodstock Gliders and Snoopy's Space Buggies, both located in Planet Snoopy. Some other cool additions are interactive park maps that include wait times for the major rides, Coca Cola freestyle stations, and a very large Starbucks. Filmed Saturday, April 18, 2015.
As usual on an opening day with nice weather, the park was very crowded and the lines were long for just about everything. I didn't get to ride much, but no matter -- it was just great to get the season started. Thanks as always for watching!

if going on the weekend I suggest a fast pass. I would ride the Banshee or Diamond back first. both lines move pretty steady even on crowded days. Firehawk and Flight of Fear be prepared for a 90 min plus wait

That thumbnail is the best...vortex is what I remember most bout ki in the late 80s and 90s...I think all 3 or 4 times I was there were all from 91 to 99...remember the rattlesnakes fallin In that car on the beast? If i member correctly the woman got bit like 14 times before it stopped...

Definitely, my family goes on some medium days in the summer and have bought them for the past 2-3 years. Allows for much more riding. If your going with friends I wouldn't because hanging out In line is pretty fun.

Briannalovexo-xo It was a nice day...temps in the upper 70's. All opening days seem to be very crowded. The ONLY reason I go is to make a video.

I love kings island but I have a feeling they will be closing the flight of fear soon or fireball because I went on the fire hawk and the ride broke down at the very end (which was a close one) so we were stuck in our seats for an hour

Well I have heard they are going to add them sometime, it could be next year. Kings Island isn't one of their smaller parks, its now one of their main parks and is in the same state as Cedar Point is. Just give it some time, I'm sure they are planning to add it soon to CP. :)

Imperial Coasters Just saying, obviously CP is the main CF park, and I just want those maps so I can see the wait times for each ride in one place. It would also be a good idea to add that feature to the CP app. They have that at Universal Studios and Disney World parks it works really well.

Remind me to never go on opening day. I have been going to this park for 26 years and I have never been there when it is that crowded!!! I don't think I could deal with half my day being spent waiting in line and dodging foot traffic. I'd rather go on a day when I can practically run through the nearly empty queue lines. The best time to go is the last couple weeks in August. There's hardly anyone there. And the water park is still open!
