After the releasing of Zeal, I started to re-watch/listen to all Kings K produced. Today is probably the first time I've listen to Higher Throne. It's completely amazing! I'm so grateful God reserved this gift to me years after Live in Color. Guys, you have to come to Brazil. I'll probably miss until my own wedding only to listen to you guys. God bless you all.

The bit at the very beginning is the realest and truest thing ever said concerning man's ability/inability to submit to the call of God via music and the furtherance of His Glory in the earth via a person's musical pursuit - or not. The straight-laced way he put it just made it so powerful. Most would try to make a confession of sorts less convicting on their part, but he just 'said it"! #ministry -- i can't even get to the music for listening to that bit over and over again!

I love the end of this video and song. It does not resolve. We are in a fierce fight my friends. It feels like a fight for our souls, but I know Jesus already won. Our songs are not our own. They belong to Jesus. They are His to do with as He pleases for His light and His glory. I am a musician that has played in church nearly all my life. I am turning 50 in just 3 days. I have been listening to The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill and now this band and I am undone, crying out for God's forgiveness, asking Him to move in me and take whatever I have left including my tears. I know some things, but not everything, but this I do know--Jesus came to this earth, He said He was God, let others kill Him for their own sake and then rose from the dead so that those who would place their trust in Him and what He has done would live to glorify Him. Whom have I in heaven and earth but you Jesus? No one but You.

It sounds alot like a POG, which isn't an auto tune pedal but an octave pedal. I think that is what he is using. If you listen, it sounds like it is doing an octave up of what he is playing.

+Evan McGee he straight out says he got the sound from a standalone auto tune pedal...but ok. Adapters are very easy to get a hold of nowadays.

Around 21:07 you can peak at his pedal board and see a DigiTech Whammy pedal there (the big red one). I believe it's that sound coupled with a delay or a reverb of some kind. I recognized the sound because I have one as well. All you need now is the settings. Have fun!
