Nice to see an ME50 used in such a pro-setup. Gives me confidence in my gear
@larry23888 жыл бұрын
It's all I use. I've been using it for ten years now. I'm always thinking about switching over to a pedal board, but the ME-50 is so easy to haul around, set up and it fits on the stages. It also sounds great. Usually some guitar player will compliment me on our tone. They sometimes can't believe all I use is a ME-50, a strat and a FBDR.
@Vanadeo7 жыл бұрын
I just bought one for exactly the same reason..I dont drive yet so if ever i get unlucky enough to have to travel by my self.. Its better to have an ME50 in a small carry case slung round my shoulder rather than the big bulky pedal board... I may even sell my other pedals and get some money back if i can get on with the ME-50. Only reason I didnt like the ME-70 was because the pedal spacing was so close... ME-50 looks much spacier.
@larry23887 жыл бұрын
The other guitar player in my band uses an ME-70 and it never sounds as good as my ME-50. He uses the ME-70 because he doesn't want to use the same multi effects I use.
@spencerholmes10477 жыл бұрын
there is something special about the ME-50. Especially with acoustic guitar. I would never sell it. Perhaps a different guitar would sound different with the ME-50?

Best tech guy ever! He doesn't annoy you with technical details, he has a cool nickname and he can probably score some weed in the blink of an eye anywhere in the world!
@pll1512 жыл бұрын
I think the reason Nacho doesn't know a lot of the technical terms and the uses of most things is because he's the kings' cousin and in their documentary Caleb talks about how he and Nacho made a pact when they were younger that whoever got rich and famous first (Nacho was a really good baseball player) would support or give a job to the other. So I think it was never really Nacho's life goal to be a roadie but he's got a cool ass job either way.

@Treggify Obviously you like stacks. I think combos have their strengths though - like in smaller spaces and for recording. I always wondered why arena rockers like KOL used combos though, I know what you mean. I suppose they rely heavily on mics and their PA.
@melven6214 жыл бұрын
What mic is used on there amps? I know one of them is an e906, what's the other?
@POENl12 жыл бұрын
what's the name of the song that's playing in the arena at the end?
@hobokoala5111 жыл бұрын
You have to use a boost pedal or a overdrive turned all the way up. You basically just want as much gain as you can going into your amp then you can adjust the master volume on your amp. After that you just sing into the pickup (bridge pickup would probably be best.)

@Treggify It's just the cab that's Orange, but it is a lovely cab - very full and bassy. The amp is a 20W Blackstar, which is cool. Valvekings are great - I heard one being played in a music shop in town, and thought it had a great dirty channel - very full sounding. I don't vouch for a lot of Peavey stuff, but that one seems to be a winner.

They are also all related. (caleb nathan and jared are brothers, matt, nacho are cousins)

@Treggify Yeah, metal guys do like stacks.... Though I've heard good metal tones out of the new(ish) Boogie Mark V combo. I have a Blackstar mini-stack, which I couldn't really call either a stack or a combo, because it's an Orange 1x12 cab. It kills in my house, and we'll soon see how well it does on stage. It should be good in a small/medium club setting anyway.
@CoryHatfield11 жыл бұрын

@mguygh if im honest with you the only person who needs that many pedals is the bass player because his sound is pretty versatile, but as for caleb, he barely needs half of them, and the other half he could get the sound easily from one multieffects unit. i play drum'n'bass and trance as well as guitar in my own songs and my set up is one boss GT-10 a strat and telecaster, a hp laptop and a few korg gadgets ;D

All the pages about Jared's pedal setup change up and around so much I don't know what to believe and not to believe on the sites that is. Anyone got a good guess? I know his amp setup and PA setup as well as the 2 Boss ME_50'spedals and the boss TU-3 & that he rocks a Gibson thunderbird in a couple of different colors. But other then that i'm in a limbo of about 6 other pedals that keep jumping & shifting with other pedals that he may of or still uses according to those sites I spoke of...... help pleazeeeeeee

@rrippp haha nailed it. Not counting tone, it just looks plain goofy to have a combo on a huge stage. You're correct, they do have their place, but I don't think that his is the place. Haha. Maybe it's the type of music I play though, because a metal guitarist wouldn't be caught dead on stage with a combo.
