Seven years ago I lost my daughter in an automobile accident... it has taken me along time to where I'm at mentally; although I have so much more healing and understanding to overcome, music 🎶🎵, especially this song, helps me to find a sense of peace and knowing that she is forever with me. Thank you all for the encouraging posts.

I've haven't been able to cry and properly grieve, but I listened to this song again yesterday with new intent and finally cried. I think the healing can begin. Time to come out of the fog. Love KOL's music.

I never thought I'd make it through the sadness and pain. But faith, love, hope, being thankful, compassionate and kind to people who aren't as blessed, and meeting new people, got me back on track. To my uncle Lawrence, a great role model to many. A father, a son and a great friend. He dedicated this song to his daughter he lost x years ago in a car accident, she was so young, about my age. I remember when he'd drive me to work, he'd blast this song, passing by the area of the accident, it'd always feel gloomy passing by it. I knew she'd cross his mind everytime. He always seemed so strong. Years pass, pandemic hits and he loses his mother. It broke his heart and not too long after... We lost him too. I listen to this and it's almost like I can hear him. When I'm feeling down, he was always there to give me solid advice and tell it straight up. He'd always call me a champ, I could really use that right about now in life. We miss ya, Uncle Lawrence RIP

If you are recovering from addiction, this song will touch your soul. It hurts to hear him say those words repeatedly, like he was convincing himself that "it's all better now" when he knows it's not. When you feel at your core that this is who you are and just want to give in but know it's not good for you. It's an every day-every hour- every minute struggle I don't wish upon anyone.

I lost my best friend to alcoholism, but it was really her way of self medicating her bipolar disorder that went undiagnosed for many years. "Wait For Me" Gonna open my heart Right at the scars Listen up Gonna do what I'm told Go where I'm told And listen up Take a shot in the rain Walk for the pain And listen up I tried all the way... Wait for me, wait for me It's all better now, it's all better now Wait for me, wait for me Gonna soften the blow Soften the blow And give it up I saw the surprise The look in your eyes I gave it up Gonna be who I am Be who I am And give it up I tried all the way... Wait for me, wait for me It's all better now, it's all better now Wait for me, wait for me Ah, it's all better now, it's all better now Wait for me, wait for me Ah, it's all better now, it's all better now Wait for me, wait for me It's all better now, it's all better now Wait for me, wait for me Ah, it's all better now, it's all better now Wait for me, wait for me Oh, it's all better now, it's all better now Wait for me, wait for me Oh, it's all better now, it's all better now Wait for me, wait for me

I've been a long time KOL fan going on 6 years now. First heard "Taper Jean Girl" when I was in the 8th grade and my love for them stemmed from there. As older fans of theirs have become critical of their new looks, tunes, etc. I have stuck by them. I don't see the difference really. I mean their direction has changed sure, and they sing more of love and loss now because they are grown and have families. I guess the sound sort of changed, it's become more mellow, but I adore it. I don't know KOL will always be my favorite band, long live the kings!

this is one of my favorites of many by them...it reminds me of the pain of addiction that I have 19 months sober now . But also it reminds me of someone ill never get over loving. If only I could rewind time.... wait for me is what I would like to tell him. The song cold desert is another reminder of him and the good times we shared before I lost him as a friend completely....

I was in a really bad accident. I ended in a coma and came back to life. My life back then was really bad. I was going through so much hell. I never admitted it. Now I’m all better. Now I never wanna go back to that ever again. I was the reason why I died for a moment. I would have lost my daughter and my family. I would have lost everything in the world for me. I got it all back though. If you’re ever going through dark times, then talk about it. I hope you all ❤️🩹 better and your heart is healed. It took me a lot to heal and now ima heal others. Dark times don’t last RECIPROCATE ONLY POSITIVITY. Do not reciprocate negativity. Even if the world only seems to show you the negative, be better and be positive. People need it ❤

I feel kinda bad because I´ve heard them for the first time with this song and that makes me feel kinda poser, but then i start to deep listen Kings of Leon, they got one of the most beautiful lyrics, and the best, they aint change a lot since they first albums. That is what I admire about them, you feel so good listen to them, sometimes kinda melancholy, or nostalgic feels but its great. Such a great band
