Great review mate. I am thinking of dipping my toe in the water roof top tent wise and am looking at what you have and the other version that roof pops up all four corners. Thanks for sharing ! Cheers 😎👌

Hi mate, Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. Hopefully you enjoyed enough to subscribe. I’ve just returned home from another 2 nights away. The rtt has been awesome. I’m not sure about the latest style rtt as I just enjoy undoing 2 latches and lift it up and it’s set up. Cheers and travel safely Craig

HI mate. Curious about a couple of things. Can they sleep 2 people side by side comfortably? I have heard they are pretty tight for that, really a bachelor tent? Do they need to be opened up weekly? One guy I spoke to said his tent gets considerable condensation inside & needs to air it out weekly to prevent mould setting in. Cheers in advance.

Hi, I tend solo camp a lot but speak to a lot of couples who advise plenty of room for 2. I would suggest going to a kings store and checking them out. I always sit mine out when I get home after camp, then close up till next camp. All rtt will get compensation in them whilst being used. Thanks for watching and let me know if anything else I can help with Cheers Craig

Can you fit 2 adults comfortably
@ottouring10 ай бұрын
Hi mate, Yeah you can. I do camp solo most of the time but have camped with people with same rtt and they fit 2 easily. Go into kings store and lay in it and see what you think. You will need to do something with the mattress Cheers Craig

Good review buddy, can't beat it for the price, bloody heavy though (90kg), my roof limit is 50kg so that's out, got a soft rtt now and is 30kg, love it being off the ground, takes 15 minutes up and down but lov it

Thank you. I don’t mind the stuff and it does the job all those other brands do and I get out there every week. Cheers Craig

Great review. Are you still using the original mattress or are you planing on replacing it? I would be interested in knowing what you end up with.
@ottouring Жыл бұрын
Hi mate, Yes still use original mattress but have added 2 eggshell toppers and sleep amazing

I bought a Kings Rooftop tent and it completely broke due to wind resistance while driving combined with poor manufacturing. Initially in one email they made up a story about the damage appearing to have occurred because of how I dismounted the tent (despite me having shown photos of the damage whilst still mounted and the fact that I only dismounted the tent because of the damage). My warranty claim was then rejected based on another false allegation that I misused the tent regarding the transit straps and cover, for which there are no instructions in the user manual. My experience is poor quality design and a company that makes up scenarios to avoid responsibility. I would stay clear of all of the Kings Rooftop tents and other products

Hi mate, That’s not good to hear. I’ve returned 2 products under warranty and both times replaced on the spot.

Jesus, 90 kg is a lot. Especially considering that dune makes a hard too rooftop tent that weighs less than 50 kg.

Hi, Thanks for watching and commenting. I’ll have a look at the dune one. I did look at them at the time I got this one but the canvas they were using at the time appeared to allow light thru. This may have been just with the lighting in the shop which turned me off them. Not sure if they changed since then. Thanks again Craig

The dune hard top is 75kg without ladder. 85kg with ladder.

Great honest review. 🎥 one of the few outthere that shows you can have a great touring set up for a fraction of what most youtubers say.👍💪🛠💰🏕
