Marie pot pies are great cooked in the oven. I'd hardly call throwing a pot pie in the oven for "45-60 min and walking away "cooking". I can appreciate that frozen meals are kind of a "now" proposition but I actual throwing these in the oven while I do something else until its done.

for the Marie Callendar Pot Pie, your correct, the filling could be a little better, but it does have the best crust. I always put it in the miro for longer then the package says. it gets really crispy and flaky

Up here behind the Maple Curtain we got or had frozen Stouffer's Mac and Cheese. It's pretty decent in the microwave for five minutes, but I like putting that bad boy in the oven. It takes 45-60 minutes but it hits so good.

The oven is the only way to go with those pot pies man. Microwaving it is just a waste of food, it ends up like baby food. Little bit of salt and pepper and what ever else you like to use to add flavors and bam best pot pie on the market(marie calendars).💯❤️😎🤣 Much love G

Kid cuisine is not as bad as you said it was I used to eat this with my stepdaughter all the time and I had no complaints but I did add some seasoning. I know this is about microwaving, but that Marie calendars it hits different when it’s cooked in the oven. Just make sure you put some tinfoil on the crust so it doesn’t burn. Also, I love Zatarain’s frozen meals.

I'm surprised Kid Cuisine lasted as long as it did. Some of their items were discontinued a few years ago. I suppose some single parents use to pick them up on discount at the local frozen section. I think I've it once in my entire life, and that was while my parents were moving to another household. Dino Nuggets and Uncrustables have absolutely destroyed every other frozen food for the past decade. I remember Uncrustables were typically sold out during COVID lockdown. Instantly gone the morning the store would restock them. A massive shortage. Parents were losing their damn mind. "Please don't let me return to my little demon without Uncrustables. PLEASE!"

Me, I think the MC beef pot pie is where it’s at, as opposed to the chicken. Definitely agree on the celery, I don’t like much celery just period. I really like some of the Amy’s stuff. Some of it tastes like nothing, but I get the kale bake a lot for my work lunch. Their chili mac is surprisingly damn good too.

Never once have I eaten a Zatarain's frozen meal BUT thanks to your channel? I might actually give it a go within the next week or two. You sold me on the Zatarain's frozen meals & I don't even eat frozen dinners anymore, lol. By the way, Banquet is one of the cheapest & lowest quality frozen dinner brand. It's usually either extremely mid or just plain unedible. A couple of them are sorta somewhat decent but most of em' are skipable. Marie Calendars is a Hit or Miss but I've eaten many Hits w/ the MC brand. Stouffer's is a decent brand too. Great vid 👑. Keep em' comin'!

Zatarain's is a new orleans company. It's actually pronounced Zataran-s. They also have frozen red beans and rice, boxed rice meals that you add meat to and cook on the stove, jambalaya, Cajun rice. We use their spice blend in shrimp, crab, and crawfish boils instead of Old Bay which seems to be the known brand throughout the northeast.

The devour Buffalo chicken is awesome the only bad things with those is they're insanely salty and high cholesterol I had a few the week before a blood test once I didn't think it would be a big deal but my doc was like your cholesterol spiked what the heck are you eating? Lol 😆 I hope you try Smart ones some time. They're kind of hit or miss most of them midish. Maybe sometime you can do a Hot Pocket vs Lean Pocket challenge? 🤔
