You actually figured out that it's too runny the way they tell you to mix it and that in order for it to be a SOLID food you need to make it THICKER you're the only two people on the entire internet that are parents that figured that out on their own instead of sitting there shoveling runny, watery cereal in their baby's mouth with a spoon and wondering why the baby is reacting strangely and doesn't like it...I love,love, love, you guys! Babies are used to a consistent flow of food with their bottles...one spoon after the other. You’re doing great! Most make their kid do tricks or make them wait until they cry for another spoon.

It’s supposed to be runny the reason why is because babies tummies needs to adjust to solid food at first then you can gradually reduce the amount of breast milk/formula and make it thicker.
