Everyone is forgetting that Colt made an AR-15 in the mid to late 80's that was chambered in 9mm. I owned one for about 5 years, it was a nice gun. That gun later became part of the DEA's arsenal.

I'm in CA. Yeah.... Anyways I'm always happy to see any new firearms made for sale to us regular folk (non LEO) here in this Nanny state. Competition is always good for the consumer. I really like my Ruger PC9. I bought the first one I could get my hands on when they first came out. Since it has a standard stock on it and doesn't need a grip fin I think the Ruger a better choice than this new S&W if you live in CA. If you live outside of CA it might be a closer race.

I don’t mind my Ca CZ scorpion 🦂 with the fin grip 16” barrel with the faux supressor. Runs great especially with freedom week 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸Magpul 🥁 mags! 😅

Depending on what you want. A compact folding gun or a AR style rifle. Completely different purpose.
