SIG SAUER 320 X5 LEGION PART TWO... THAT DARN SPRING.

After shooting the first 320 Legion and having so much trouble we realized the gun ships with two springs. So we demonstrate how to change the spring and put the correct spring in the gun for everyday shooting.

I had the same issue. My way of thinking was if I was shooting lighter loads (115, 124) I should put in the lighter spring but, that was wrong. Didn't have failure to feed or eject issues but, did have failure to go back into battery. Changed to the 14lb spring and it ran flawlessly. Great job getting the word out there. Love this gun😊

i agree but my P365 X5 Legion came with the 14 lb spring installed and the 12 lb in the bag

That's what it 'says', I myself ran into the same issue in commiefornia. I figured it was the case having researched the gun and it gave me the 12 pound behavior at the range. Popped off the slide and there it was, 12 pounds, the same problem a few other people have been running into.

Good clear video. Glad you put it out there. It should come with the 14# spring installed, but its easier to rack at the counter with the 12# spring installed. Only reason I can think of for sig to ship it this way.

Yup, took me about 20 rounds to figure out the problem. Once I changed to the 14 lb spring, it ran much better!

The card from Sig you showed said that 14 lbs spring is installed. But that is untrue. So we all including you were misguided. Now we have to change the spring (and even a professional like yourself seems to be having a hard time to replace it). Anyways , Sig fails in this launch. I had a preorder on the p365 XComp deposit. I will stay on hold. Don’t want to be an experimental user from them. Thank for guiding us despite their failure.

Yeah, there's something going on over at Sig that doesn't make any sense. They used to be absolutely Rock, solid guns and now they're questionable. Thanks for your comments.

I agree with the card showing the incorrect spring installed. Mine was the same. But it's not as big of a deal that these guys are trying to make it out to be. It's be a simple swap and takes 30 seconds.

Yup, picked up the gun, never bothered to compare the springs seeing it was supposed to come with the 14 pd. Wasn't the case when I was at the range and after the third bullet the slide didn't lock in place.

How about make a gun that will shoot out of the box. We had to fix another gun today for a customer trying to qualify with it. He had no idea why his gun was jamming until we told him and fixed it for him.

i just bought this pistol been going to the shooting range twice , my shooting suck from 9 yard/feet away my aim is way off, is it my sight or i am just bad shooting, what i need to do, i swear my aim looking from back to front end , i shoot in the middle of the circle and the target is at the very bottom way off

A lot of times grip has a lot to do with missing the target. You have to learn how to calm your hands down and stop reacting to the bang. It's just that when you worry about the bang, your hands have dented to tighten right before the shot. I have a video that I probably should put out regarding how to properly grip a gun that might help.

My initial shots were very low as well. I just adjusted the rear sight for elevation and it's great now.
