Best demo I've seen with description of settings and thoughts on the tone....plus really smart using the PRS as it provides context outside of the Strat range. People try to compare this with the Soloist, a great pedal with its own character, but the Blues Power is a bigger beast altogether in my opinion. Mass St Music is great too with the customer service and really great selection.

Thanks for your kind words and glad you enjoyed the video! Yes the Blues Power and Soloist are different for sure, the Blues Power is a beast in every way!

You inspired me to get one, too! It's by far the best pedal for blues I've ever heard. Even the Duellist, Browne Protein and The Double Trouble don't sound as good! This pedal nails what's lacking in every other pedal on the planet!

Right on Marc! It’s by far the best blues pedal for that SRV style blues!

@@CollinLittlejohn Another way to use it is at the end of your signal chain right before your delay or reverb. I use mine playing at home like a attenuator. I can crank everything and use the volume on the blues power to control the overall level so you get fat tones at lower volume.

This is the best pedal to stack with a fuzz, it just makes the fuzz sound like its blasting through a dimed plexi stack or so, NOTHING is quite like this!!

This is a GREAT way to utilize this pedal! Love it

Doyle Bramhall II's swears by running his fuzzes into a Vemuram Jan Ray. Jan Ray and Blues Power are both Timmy circuits. Think I'll build a Blues Power and try that out.

I agree. I run a Benson fuzz into it and it's an amazing tone.

Hello like your presentation.I am looking to purchase this pedal.Have not tried it out for myself yet.My question is does it sound like it does on lower volumes.Say bedroom and garage playing.Where I am restricted in playing at a higher volume due to neighbours.I look forward to your reply.
@CollinLittlejohn2 жыл бұрын
Hey Ray thanks for your kind words. Yes it does, this pedal rocks at low volumes as there is plenty of gain on tap and it gets that cranked super reverb sound at any volume!

Wondering how it takes LP junior with P90 pickups?

Really well, it’s such a responsive pedal with single coils and p90 style pickups, tons of dynamic touch!

Darwin, I use my blues power with both a strat, and an edwards sb55 (essentially a vintage les Paul junior), sounds incredible! I had a kingtone duelist too and it worked fantastic with that too. Can also confirm the blues power excels with a PAF style Lea Paul too

It wants a strat, it wants a strat. I'll play my humbuckers. WTF
@CollinLittlejohn2 жыл бұрын
Hey William, I play many sounds in single coil mode with this PRS studio swamp ash special. It’s split humbucker single coil sounds are incredible and you can hear how this pedal reacts differently depending on split or full position on the pickups.
@philkor31522 ай бұрын
@@CollinLittlejohn most all the demos out there already use a strat, using PRS/buckers in this video is much appreciated though. (but I do get the WTF comment haha)
