I’m excited that I’ll get to do that fun grapple thing with a hot guy instead of a literal Pokémon 😂 (No but I actually feel so bad when I let them take damage cuz I can’t plunge or glide as I fall😭 I end up doing a normal attack at the last second and I THINK it stops them from taking damage from falling but idk)

@@LilBunni7 Hot guy is so real, they keep taking dmg after the 2nd grapple I always have to time the mid air attack in the Yumkasaur grapple just so they don’t take dmg but it means they don’t go as far 😭

I think 1 thing that you didn't mention is that Kinich's bis artifact set adds 40 crit rate, which makes crit rate weapons kinda risky because it becomes very easy to overcap

I mean most 4 star weapons max out crit rate at 22 so that plus the 40 u get from your set is just enough crit rate to get by with like 7 crit rate on one of ur artifacts

yeah why when I calculated it I realize that wolf gravestone is actually going to be pretty good with him because you can easily cap out with crit rate same case with fontaine characters and I personally think it's probably the best passive for him beside earth shaker

Not really an issue for Kinich. He isn’t like Mualani who ascends with crit rate. Artifact set + base crit rate is only 45%. That’s plenty of room to not worry about crit rate over cap.

Serpent spine has one other flaw which is that burning dmg drains its stacks almost instantly because it is dot.

Keep in mind kinichs best arrifact set gives 40 crit rate so using a crit rate weapon it will be easy to cap out his crit rate so the ranking of some of these weapons are going down

with serprent spine you will most likely burn most of the time so i rather think its a D Tier because you are 24/7 on 0 stacks. Most likely you will take damage via Burning - Burgeon.

But it performs super good at full stacks r4-r5. if you figure out a way to play him with a shielder it would be like S tier. Or just stay away from enemies in burning comps. For that reason i knocked it from S to A tier, i don’t think it should be anymore lower tho

@@KamiloYT Definetly agree with that a lot more, some people wont use zhongli and would prolly choose the standard of kinich emilie xiangling and bennet which can lead to you getting burnt randomly so it would be too inconsistant to be better than something that is static Serpent Spine is a really good stat stick but equipping it for the passive isn't the best idea

​@@andreasdds8799running kinich/thoma/emilie/bennett should allow you to use serpent spine comfortably. Losing an unbuffed 4 pc deepwood xl for +50% dmg on kinich at ss r5 should end up being worth it

I'm between giving him the unforged that i have laying without using or simply giving him redhorn. I'm still between those two bc the high CD but the unforged has attack which is rlly good on him and the passive is somewhat useful. Guess I'll have to wait to get him and try both :/

I'd say definitely not. Its crit rate is really low (fine on kinich, but its weird on others if you're not using like mh or the new artifact set with the +40% cr). Its passive does nothing on Navia, too.

However it also does depend on how much damage comes from her elemental skill and burst because the passive would be pretty negligible if that's not where the core of her damage comes from. ( it's really not going to be terrible but you might get better options) If you're really looking for a signature weapon to pull for Mavuika I would suggest just waiting until she gets her own signature weapon it would be way more tailored to her actual kit.

i’m not an expert but i’ll say if you have bennet in the team you’ll probably wanna go for r5 earth shaker if ur going for like a dehya emelie + flex slot team the the attack is rly good. bare in mind his skill scalings are stupid high (1000%+ atk) and wgs has a really high base attack so do with that what you will. source: i’m fully f2p and have to focus on maximising my characters so i’m no expert but i’m not new to theory crafting (i’ve also been 36 starring abyss for a year and got max stella all 3 seasons we have had for imaginarium theatre (10 this round). sorry for the little essay i hope this kinds explains when to use which weapon and why :)

@@_Lostinthesky p.s. massive sorry in advance you don’t have to read all of this but i wanted to try and help out not only for kinich but for dps building in general tbh genshin is a game where you can rly play whoever you want and clewr the main content of the game that’s why i really like it. furina might mess up the burning reaction but i don’t think teams have been tested yet so we will have to wait and see about that. anywya wgs passive gives xiangling atk and in any case a stupid amount of atk to kinich bcs if the base attack and substat. i think bottom line is if yout supports give elemental damage buffs mainly (like the new set, furina, kazuha also but doesn’t work with dendro obviously) then you want your weapon / artefact stats to have more atk to balance it out and vice versa if you have pyro resonance + bennet+sara or faruzan (depending on the team) then atk buffs aren’t gonna be as impactful. u can stop reading the comment if you want now but if you’d like to know more about how balancing stats out works i can give you an example. say a skill deals 100% of atk, you have 500 attack and a 200 crit damage stat this would roughly (not taking into consideration enemy res) deal 1.5k damage. now let’s swap around and give the character a more balanced build of 1000 atk and 100 crit damage. this will deal 2k damage even tho the crit stat is a lot lot worse. there are graphs online that show how stacking attack, em, dmg bonus or crit stats exclusively can hurt your damage. obviously it all depends on the team but on a general basis your average dps build should be pretty balanced on all stats. in some rare cases some dps be if it from an hp or atk goblet more than an elemental one bcs of reasons i explained ewrlier (furina gives so much elemental damage bonus that it’s more efficient to use ho goblet up until c2) so sorry for ranting ik you asked a very simple question but i’m hoping to have helped not just for kinich but to understand character building more as a whole :) have a beautiful day

Yes. Recomend Xianling with high ER before Dehya. Dehya only pyro is not enough for Mualani.

@@ItsmeACAii No. For burning to activate u need pyro. Mualani hits every 2 seconds or 2,3 aprox. Dehya triggers her skill in 2,5 seconds so u are vaporizing mualani's hit and then there's no way to trigger the pyro. The burning stop once u vaporize, if there's no pyro after that, the burning don't start again...

I think earth shaker is generally better because its way more consistent, so its probably worth it to get it to r5 and use it. Earth shaker also has a higher base atk.

I suggest get r5 earth shaker. If we exclude his sig, only beacon seems like a really good fit for him among 5 star weapon. His other good weapon will be between SS and earth shaker. SS at higher refinement is probably better than earth shaker, but SS come with a risk on kinich.
