Gosh, I missed purchasing this brush… although was already wishing for the smaller sheer buffer. I snatched the mini keyaki series I, as it was in my wish list as well. Inspo video for you Alicia… combine all the mini keyaki series ( I and II, and she did release mini keyaki Niji and buffer as well) in a traveling situation… please… please 😂😂😂

Thank you for reviewing this so thoroughly. I did pick one up and I’m going to try using it with the Phytosurgence bronzers. I received their stippling brush but I’m not in love with it.

I picked up both the mini and original when they became available this year. I wasn't quite sure how I was supposed to use. I am so happy you did this video. I used the mini today for my cream Chanel blush and its perfect! Thank you for showing me that.

I also had commented on hoping that SG would bring a smaller version of the Sheer Buffer last summer and added my comment to the review on Beautylish hoping she might see it. Of course I signed up for the notice with Beautylish and pounced on the mini sheer buffer. Now that I am of a "certain age", I use more and more cream products. After your demo, I will most def try this with the liquid foundations as well. Needless to say, this brush is exactly what I hoped for. As always, thank you for the excellent, in depth review and demonstrating the different ways to use it. ❤❤

Also, if my entire buffer pro ferrule and brush head popped off, can I glue it back? It was squeaky when I bought it 3 years ago but I never reached out to beautylish and now I’m stuck with it and don’t want to buy another one, prices have gone up so much since then!!! It’s wild

My first Sonia G. brush was the larger version (on your recommendation via Martina Lily), so of course I had to get this one. Looking forward to your recommendations on usage with different products! I’ve slowly been focusing solely on Sonia G moving forward, because I find that hers are the brushes I reach for over all others. Hi Alicia, HNY ❤ I wanted to pick this brush up so much and btw travel and the holiday season. I got sidetracked. I have a sheer buffer form two years. And when I first got that, I secretly wished to have a smaller version. I’ll have to wait for the restock. However, I tried to read Sonia’s blog and still a bit confused what is the difference between the mini sheer buffer and the Kayaki mini sheer buffer ? Is it just the handle ? Thanks much

Hi Alicia! We love it when you get nerdy. Brushes and products they work best with is one of your super powers so I never buy until I see your reviews so...not sad I waited until your video! Since cream foundations tend to look heavy on me and I favor Lisa's skin tint, I'll use the first one and save $60 by skipping the mini. I save lots of $$ watching you! My best to ya in 2025 Darlin.

I missed out on that brush can I use my Mini Keyaki Sheer Buffer to do the dame thing? Did you see Wayne Goss is reeling a new collection of squirrel/synthetic brushes? I noticed on the Beautylish website that only 2 of that set are actually squirrel/synthetic brushes, wish they all were that way, he didn’t mention that on his video.❤

How would it compare to the fusion classic base brush in terms of the outcome of application of liquid foundation/skin tint/base products? Thank you

I would say that classic base will leave behind more of a polished blend because of the denser brush head. And the brush will pick up more product as well.

I’ve been praying that Sonia releases her sheer buffer in the “mini base” size and the queen finally made my dreams come true!!
