I walk around the tourist souk in Luxor, constantly stopped by shopkeepers trying to sell me their wares. After the tourist part of Luxor, I go to the local part of the city, and there I find friendly people, and I have some wonderful offal and intestines and some liver for my dinner.

I love how easy going you are when it comes to trying different food that even some Egyptians might hesitate to try, really love it !! Also, while you are in Luxor, I recommend that you go on an air balloon trip at least once. it's really magical seeing the sunset up in the sky while in the air balloon while at the same time being able to look down on the one of oldest and most intact civilizations in the whole world. you won't regret it

Another interesting part of the food...that is what I always find interesting visiting different countries. Thanks for sharing. They do that in Mexico in the tourist area too saying I know you from the resort etc and try to sell you something. I agree with you...for the most part all touristy areas in the world can be a little pushy...but you do learn to give a strong no thank you and end the conversations. Do you miss traveling on the trike? I'm guessing you will have to get back in shape after a long break.

It's funny that they also do that in Mexico. I guess many very touristy parts of the world are very annoying. In Paris also, it's very bad around the Eiffel tower and Montmartre. Yes, I miss traveling with the trike, and it will be good to resume the journey after, indeed, a long break from cycling.

First time to watch your Vlogs Was quite entertaining to watch your video in Alexanderia with the small history addition to the last of your video as i was eating a snack after a tough workout day. the pushy behaviour in the souq is not just with the foreign tourists trust me lol, i’m egyptian and i went earlier this year and it’s the same with everyone😂 but this is their way of marketing sadly. I think that we egyptian by nature are very hectic and loud and stuff, and may come across as pushy or annoying. but in reality we just don’t get enough tourism so when we see a tourist we try to make him feel welcome but it often goes sideways😂
