Kintaro was eating another loquat tree (bark) that he had eaten on May 11 around the time of his morning snack.
This time, he might have finished one by himself (laugh).
In the afternoon, after returning indoors, there was a bit of a commotion.
I was really surprised at how strong-willed Kintaro was.
I didn't see the cause of the commotion clearly, so you'll just have to guess.

Momotaro (father) was born on Jul 3, 2000
He came to the Kyoto City Zoo in 2010.
Genki (mother) was born on June 24, 1986.
I was born in Kyoto and came back to Kyoto.

OMG another food drama right at the beginning. 😲 What excitement as soon as you open the video!! 😄 Kinny, unfortunately you weren't quick enough to escape into the room with your brother because Dad caught you. 😏🤭 Momotaro, what can your little son eat away from you? There's always enough to eat. Tztz ..🙄 Gentaro wanted to help, but couldn't immediately get through the opening of the gate. 0:10 But he came out quickly. (Upper body turned, stomach towards the grid, it was pressed in and then it worked.) Well done! 🦍☺️😍 There was a lot of screaming, but it seemed to be over quickly. Phew! Aw Gentaro tried to help his little brother. Oh, we don't need to see when/what started the commotion knowing that if it was during feeding time Momotaro likely scolded Kintaro over some food. 😯 Kintaro wasn't happy with the scolding, and let his dad know it 😤😠‼️📢 0:30 🤭 Kintaro is persistent on getting his food (rye grass falling on overhead ladder) even though Momotaro is still blocking. 13:08 🤷 Things calm down as usual, and dad Momotaro performs a health check on his little son.

Kintaro may be a Mama’s boy but he is also really fierce! Young gorilla Ringo in Taipei has something of that temperament as well. A real sweet nature overall but absolutely fierce and stands his ground when he feels he needs to! Momotaro will get Kintaro in line. D’Jeeco might be a bit more tender and patient in his approach with Ringo. Different dads different ways 😄😘 🦍♥️

Yes true but remember that Momo never had a dad so he has had to learn to be a dad and although at times you can get annoyed at him his food aggression has gotten better especially feeding from ceiling, Kinny is fierce and unrelenting but he definitely has to learn the rules of the Silverback. This group is even more interesting because Momo has had to learn himself and Genki has taught him much

Just wanting to know Everyone's opinion on letting Kintaro go from room to room when it's feeding time. I'm not sure how I feel, I'm for it and I'm not for it. Just wanting him to be safe , I know his father won't hurt him intentionally but Big Mo is strong and is Very territorial and aggressive around food. Looking forward to all opinions. Thanks.

Kintaro is going to be an amazing silverback. He is intelligent (knowing numbers up to 11--his father only goes up to 7?) and already he is daring enough to.defend from a gorilla 5 times his size.
