My only guess would be they have small fields where it can be a hassle to maneuver a 24 row. Although what i dont understand is why they dont start in the middle of the field and work away from each other rather than follow and have to wait for the other to turn.

I'm pretty sure that this is not the case in this area, as I've seen many pics and vids from "bigtractorpower" of 24 row planters in the same area

Do you know why they run 2 12 rows as opposed to just running 1 24 row?
