Thanks so much!!! For me I had to use a bit of force to untwist mine (because they had been in for awhile) and wanted to let anyone else with the same problem know it's okay!!! Using some force cause they're a little tangled is fine and my weave came out quite nicely still :D

To help with taking the rubber bands out, one tip I learned is that if you put a little oil in your hands and rubber the rubber bands in them, they’re easier to remove when you’re ready without slipping out while the style is in, if that makes sense😂!

personally i say 4 - 8 weeks because it prob took hours to install so you might as well get your time's worth lol. and then at least 2 weeks with your hair out to give it a break if you plan on doing another protective style after

What oil or treatment do you use on your scalp to help keep it moisturizer and not itchy? I don’t want to add more buildup but it’s my first time wearing and I took them out after a week cuz my scalp felt irritated.

I know for the majority of protective styles that are twists submerging them in water can cause them to frizz up and sometimes they take longer than usual to completely dry. Box braids will hold up though.

probably. the longer you leave your hair in rubber bands the more knotted it gets around the rubber band.

Ashley Agosto if your hair is straight then it’s probably gonna slip out and you’re gonna have to use some pretty strong edge control. maybe even beeswax but, that’s pretty controversial on hair and I don’t want it to damage it at all. hope it works out!
