After listening to this version and the full band version, this one is light years better. Its just so raw and gritty and that's Kip to his core.

This song hits all the sad spots :( 6 years later and I still find my self thinking about her. Wish shit didn't turn to bittersweet company

Song hits it perfectly. 4 and half years, long distance, 2 deployments and all the struggles and we survived it all to just turn to bittersweet company when I came home. Kip, you are the man

I think majority of people can relate to this song deeply, "something between us changed, and now we can't get enough. I remember when we loved each other so fearlessly, so tell me how the hell did we turn into bittersweet company."... "It'd be easier to let you go and let this thing go up in smoke."..."I remember when we loved each other so damn fearlessly, so tell me how the hell did we turn into bittersweet company." For me those lines just sting in a good way, but I'm sure digging Kip's new music! He is all over the place but still manages to keep to his unique sound and all the songs are tastefully done!

This is exactly why I love kip. Each and every song sound believable, like it was his experience. I don't know how many of them are but they all sound like they are. That's why I respect him not like many singers who are just singing songs because someone is forcefeedimg them new songs to make money
@whitneysanders69967 жыл бұрын
Brittany B I know they aren't forcefeeding them songs for no reason. There is a reason to make a new song to make more money. There are any singers out there to make song after song after song and they all start to sound the same. This the point where I lose interest and many others do too.

This reminds me of my "friend" Aaron.. & me.. Last summer when I was back home & we'd run into each other or hangout or he'd come into the place I worked everyone would ask why we had such a love-hate relationship & attitude towards each other.. We had become bitterweet company.. ❤ how Kips songs speak so deeply to me & do many of his fans.. He is a genius lyricist & that combined with his unique vocals & tone & his incredibly potent stage precense make him the most under-rated & under appreciated artists to come out of Nashville since Willie Nelson was contracted to write for years for others before his own contract.. Cannot wait for the world to wake up & figure out 4 who this Kip Moore IS & for him to EXPLODE the way he deserves to..

We were summer, love was burning We were white magnolias in bloom By the time the leaves had fallen I had already fallen for you Then winter came, brought the rain Something in between us changed Now we can't get it back Oh, I remember when we Loved each other so fearlessly So tell me how the hell did we Turn into bittersweet company Our chemistry, the jealousy A symphony of things gone wrong There's something here behind the tears For all the years that we've held on It'd be easier to let you go Let this thing go up in smoke Leave and let it turn to ash Oh, but I remember when we Loved each other so fearlessly So tell me how the hell did we Turn into bittersweet company Oh, yeah Oh, I remember when we Loved each other so damn fearlessly So tell me how the hell did we Turn into bittersweet company Oh, I remember when we Yeah, loved each other so damn fearlessly So tell me how the hell did we Turn into bittersweet company

Such a hard story…and I was clueless until an awakening around Aug. I struggle to put pieces together….just one step leading to twostep….one inhale….one exhale…..humming became thumbing….cause I was running….then a lil melody on line…..I think that’s my voic…..Ove given up on alias’ names. I’m got to mind boggling….,I figured when it’s time it’s time. Some days feel a bit lighter. Some days are 10 emotions thrown into a blender on high speed. I fire my line today comes from my sis that battled cancer and lost….It is what it is. It’s helpful others are figuring out when and where haywire moved in…,but at the end of another day….I acquiesce and think of sissy’s words of acceptance….it is what it is…..I truly care deeply and am eternally grateful for friendship, love a risky investment…I was running out of options and the will to keep fighting while trying to get out of deep waters for just one deep breath. I’m accepting living and am feeling like somehow we’re getting comfy with jangling together, sleeping on cots……campfire Java…..ya know once I was in the ambulance and knew my path of Paiin and widowhood, I resolutelyvsaid inside….this is my path. I go…….
