Kippy The Caterpillar ~ Addi, Sentro, Circular Knitting

Kippy the Caterpillar is such an adorable little creature!
In this tutorial I will show you how to make him using the Addi King - 46 needle machine for the body and the Addi Professional - 22 needle machine for the body parts.

I just ordered a Sentro 48 and I really want to make one of these for my daughter. Can you use Chenille yarn for the toys 🧸 blankets and etc in the machine? My daughter has sensory and loves soft things.

Thank you for this fun and colorful caterpillar. And for your time to record it. I'm definitely going to make this. Just a thought: instead of knitting a double tube would a single layer and a pantyhose inside work to hold the filling or would this show too? I ordered the addi king and it will arrive next week. Have the small addi, the 48 needle sentro and 44 needle prym and the icord maker, but felt the need for another knitting mill:) The knitting helps me thru some tough times. It relaxes. That’s a good suggestion and may work. I would be afraid the kids would poke it with something just from playing with it and you would eventually get a snagged mess underneath the first layer. Very creative though. Another thing is….. I do a double layer cause I don’t like seeing the white stuffing through a project. I likely would feel the same about seeing a brown stocking layer.
