Kira: had to borrow from your costuming ideas. Hope you don't mind. Went to get hair trimmed. She trimmed it. I look like a Buddhist nun. So I thought you wear all kinds of big flowers to dance. So I m making smaller version of some head dresses to wear till my hair grows out. Dancing particularly yours helps me almost everyday. This was a huge obstacle for me to over come. Thanks so much

I wish the framing wouldn't keep cutting off the dancer's feet, legs and hands. I also wish that the Editors would stop all the unnecessary jump edits and multi view sequences; this is, after all, a feature of the artistry of the dance, NOT of their editing skills! All too often these things interfere with the flow and mesmerising beauty of the dance, unsettling the choreography that has been so expertly planned and executed.

I don't find that distracting. I like that they switch between cameras. Since she turns to different directions we get to see a bit more this way. If we were sitting in the audience, we would lose that extra view from the cameras. I also like that we are able to see her close up on film rather than from the 20th row in the audience. But, if you are also a dancer or just really appreciate footwork involved with the movement, I understand your point.

Hi, thank you for your reply and comments. I'm not against editing, camera view changes and close-ups 'per-se', if those changes add to or enhance the viewer's experience. It is all the changes for changes sake, that drives me crazy. And when the choreography includes the fingers right down to the tips of the toes, it's unacceptable to me that the dancers hands and/or feet are cut from frame.I find this particularly annoying when it is the smallest of foot repositioning that alters the performers' frame and stance. I hope this helps to clarify my previous comment? Gary :)

Kira I watch and try to dance like you because I am 75 yrs old. There are no women where I live over 50 who don't use a wheelchair or some appliance to walk. I don't think it is shameful. I think if you don't need it next life I might have problems walking. You are my ideal. You are disciplined. I am learning at 75 to discipline my body.. Sometimes here we cannot discipline due to air pollution. Like your early videos. My house is like that.
