8:09 I think the red is meant to resemble gums so it looks like the inside of the mouth, and possibly give an illusion of depth. seeing it at an angle like this kind of breaks the illusion because you can see how close the 2 rows actually are. there is blood in this game, but I never thought of the red on the beartrap ability as blood. On a separate note, I don't know if you ever tried spark + ice, but it's a fridge that shoots food that you can use to hurt enemies, then pick up to heal yourself with. Many consider it one of the best abilities in this game.

9:03 the witch is an enemy from some of the older kirby games (I think she gives the cleaning ability), and the flying pyramid that is also a spaceship might be a reference to the conspiracy theory that aliens built the pyramids.
