Kirby Air Ride: All Machines With Max Stats (AR)

A showcase of how every rideable machine in the game handles when their stats are maxed out. Keep in mind, it is entirely possible to do this without cheats, it's just...quite a task. But since I'm a darn lazy, the Debug Menu code was used to allow for quick access of stat gains.

I like a videogame that has wind as a central thème instead of cliche Fire vs Water like Pokemon. I certainly love it's graphies. Reminds me of Easter like in Banjo Tooie. Who would have thought that the developers of this game also created Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

I had no other game to play on the gamecube so I just spammed this thing all the live long day, oh boy I loved this thing as a kid , though it did not age well Lol. I loved Kirby's air ride. But somehow, my GameCube got lost because my mom did some cleaning in 2015. Now she doesn't know where it is. And it's already 2017 and she still can't find it. I loved compact star with decent stats, but it even with +10def and hp it was made out of tin foil. Flight star, it took to the skies at the slightest touch, even a hardened bugger would trip it up, favorite star OP. Then Jet Star was just as fun, not as flight trigger friendly but real fast and cool. And when playing with friends Swerve Star was completely banned.

This comment is old af but - that’s kinda what I love about Sakurai’s games? Kid Icarus Uprising too: you have equipment with a defined moveset and mechanics, but fluid numerical values. This allows you to build the same item thousands of different ways, but it still maintains its mechanical personality. It’s such a thrilling compromise between hard-locked character differences, and homogenizing stats-only differences. Also I want KIU x KAR. Surfing on stars, fighting with gunblades, all with Sakurai’s upgrade system :D

In most cases, the Top Speed of maxed-out vehicles in Kirby Air Ride is capped at 200.95km/h (124.87 mph). Some can speed boosts beyond that, but I guess the cap was made to keep the game stable. Besides, handling a maxed out air ride gets difficult at those speeds (except in a drag race, high jump, or flight challenges)

Yeah, the codes are for Action Replay. The code activates debug mode, which can be used to spawn the Top Ride vehicles.

Ever since I saw this as a kid I knew that Kirby could of been perfect in 3d. Give ot more structure, make or feel like an actual level/obstacle course a little more so... Enemies to navigate around and/or attack... End up at a boss battle.... Finish 'em off: Perfect.

I did see that video actually. Just like Bulk Star, in the right hands, Formula star can be amazing aswell. The secret was to use quick braking (rapidly tap A) to change direction without losing too much speed. I really enjoy seeing how people really make the most out of the various stars.
