Thks Dean. Good tips especially for 1st time Kirby owners. I take the powerhead apart fairly often to clean it.... amazing what collects especially with pets... and sand if one lives by a beach. Have always had good luck with belts... wear well. Tip on the brush roll is really good to extend the life of it, one's carpet and belt.

I bought a Kirby from a garage sale. The roller didn’t roll. After watching a couple of your vids, I got it up and running again. Super dirty, broken belt. Now she’s as good as new. Thanks!

@@KirbyEnthusiast Actually it's my job to put the belts and brushes in the shampooing system head. If hold the belt in place while you twist the belt lifter, it will always catch. I could probably do this in my sleep now.

@@theresakidd yeh I do that , I used to work for Kirby selling the G3s back in the early 1990s 👍👍
