Great video! This is what I finished doing last Saturday. After so much usage, mine would hit forward and backward in the slide area. There will be an occasional tap when pulling back on it here and there, but it is a lot better than it was. The next time I get back in it, I will adjust the screws. For now, it works well enough. Update: I opened up my Diamond and adjusted the screws and readjusted the handle pivot. It works fine now.

Eazy to adjust video, I went extremely tight. My trans now flows back and forth with much less effort, it's as if it is moving without me. Highly recommend doing this adjustment.

So if I want it to have more assist, more torque in both directions, I could adjust the two top bolts in the pivot slide like you did, and the back bolts, I could drive them in just a little more?

Yes you're exactly correct, BUT You must leave an eighth of an inch of slack for both forward and reverse adjustments. When you're done adjusting, power on the Kirby and put it in drive. Lift the back wheels up off the floor without touching the handle spring, the wheels should not be spinning. If the wheels are slowly spinning forward or backwards, you'll need to give it more slack in the slide by adjusting either the forward (top screws) or the reverse screws on the back.
