1:26 - 2:08 I've never been particularly scholarly when it comes to music theory, but lately I've been trying to figure out time signatures. That part of the song has similar sections playing at regular intervals. And it seems like I can count to 15 during each section. Does that mean that the time signature for that part of the tune is 15/16?

Nope, the beat shifts around during the drum solo section but it's all 4/4.

I've heard that different time signatures can have a significant impact on how it feels. 3/4 is waltz-like dancing music, and SMB water level is an example. 5/4 is exciting music, like Ridley's theme. I think it's good for battle music or chase or escape music. I don't know that for sure though. I'm not a music theory expert. Just a normie trying to make sense of it. Do you know if there's any Kirby music that's not in 4/4?
