With you on this 100%. Soon as the grace of God removed the veil on my heart, mind and eyes I lost friends. Friends I'd known since school so this is like over 10 years of friendship. But if I really think back, all we did was get wasted together then laugh about it over texts then do it again and again and again. Get wasted and wonder about life together and satisfy temporarily our flesh by thinking we were our own God's and had to master the art of spiritual freedom through a) drugs b) meditation c) being somewhat of a rebel against society/police/politics etc. We would stay up and get high whilst walking David Icke videos. Stay up all night listening to Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins but just having our minds blown by the fancy intellectual words they used but being so wasted not truly understanding their personal hatred towards accountability and absolute moral standards. So, PRAISE THE LORD! FOR HE IS THE MIGHTY ONE. The Creator of all things. He could have let me walk in the dark chasing after things that I thought was God. Acts 17:24-28: “God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. “Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, “so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; “for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’ But His mercy is overflowing... 1 Peter 2:9-10: But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. I totally agree with your comment. But "my God" is a blasphemy of the name of our Christ and Savior. It is against the 3rd commandement : "you shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain". FunWithSarah “God” isn’t a name though, it’s a title. It’s not a divine name. Yahweh (Jehovah) and Yeshua (Jesus) are divine names, but simply the title “God” isn’t. Satan is considered a god too. But do you still think it’s wrong though to use the phrase “oh my God” or “oh my gosh” to express genuine excitement? I’m wondering because, as a Christian, even when things aren’t considered morally wrong but I still feel wrong for doing/saying them, I try to avoid it.

Rafaela Rafaela Rafaela It is a title, but it’s a honoring title that shows your respect to the personne you are talking about. I never saw someone speak about any “god” without fear and respect behind the use of this title. For Christians, there is only one God : Our Lord and Savior. Satan is a angel (see revelation 12:7-17). So the word God will be used for Satan as “chief” and not as the Creator of everything. Saying “Oh my God” is taking the name of our Christ and Savior in vain. There are other words to express genuine excitement such as : “I can’t believe it !” “Wow this is so exciting” and so on ☺️ There is no need to blaspheme His Holy name. The same goes when we say :”Jesus” to express a frustration. On the other hand “Oh my gosh” is a twist of the first expression. I think God puts in us the discernment whether to use this expression or not 🙂 If you feel bad saying something, it’s usually because God putted in your heart that you shouldn’t be behaving the way you are. Hope this helped you understand a bit more what I meant !

I lost my best friend, someone I had been friends with for over 15 years over my love for Jesus. She started debating me and saying that there are many truths...I disagreed and said there can only be ONE truth. She flipped out and we have not spoken since, despite my attempts. I have to admit that it made me scared to share the gospel, the country I live in is even worse than Switzerland (Finland), it's been hard even finding a church to go to. 98% of my friends/contacts don't believe and when I'm with them I feel compelled to talk about how Jesus saved me and changed my life, and the response is always "you need a psychiatrist...". Sigh. Thank God I feel less lonely watching these videos, they give me hope.

@Beloved One So true, he's the best friend I could ever have. And he has saved me and is always there for me despite my flaws and brokenness. I should focus more on that friendship and not be so sad about the ones I no longer have. The sad part is that she used to be a believer, she went to church every Sunday and would pray every day, but she got really hurt by someone she trusted and she started believing that God didn't exist because he allowed those things to happen. From the outside, I can say that she was actually lucky and God was protecting her the whole time, but she is now convinced that he is not real and that the bible is just a book written by humans. Breaks my heart and I pray she comes back to Jesus.

Wow! This came at exactly the right time for me! I'm at the point in my life right now where I really wanna start sharing the gospel more with people that I meet in the everyday life, but the one thing that's holding me back is fear. (Mostly fear of rejection) Each and every day for the past weeks I've been dealing with this and feeling the Lord work with me in this area. Every day I meet people that I know need to hear that Jesus loves them, but even though I got the perfect opportunity to tell them, I just freeze. It's like I all of the sudden can't get a single word out of my mouth, and it's really annoying! But I'm gonna keep on trying. One day I know I won't be able to hold it back anymore, and I'll finally dare to speak about Jesus with everyone around me (stranger of friend), and that day will be the happiest day in my life!

I just lost a friend of 6 years over this. I've nearly lost everyone i know because i am not compromising my worldly relationships for God's instructions. I'm instead just following what is expected of us. Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in the advice of the wicked or stand in the pathway with sinners or sit in the company of mockers. 2 Instead, they find happiness in the Teaching of the LORD, and they think about it day and night. In such context it's quite simple, if you share what the purpose of our existence is to your friends and they brush it off, or they find no meaning with it, then you have to let them go. Maybe they'll come around in future, but until then, the bible says they're a spiritual hindrance to you. 1 Corinthians 15:33 Bad company corrupts good character. 34 Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame. 1 Corinthians 5:11 But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people. In conclusion, Good character does not change bad company if it is not for the purpose of evangelizing when you are around them. To be close to God you must be far from people who reject God upon them hearing what worked for you and many others. You can't be in both worlds and grow with God. Eventually, if you keep such company around, they'll impact you more than you would them.

I don’t know why, but I wanna share this. I felt led to write out a paragraph, basically it had an encouragement, scripture and a Prayer. I felt God leading me to post it on social media, it started to with KZbin, then I began feeling led to share it on Instagram. I shared it on a few post, just whenever I thought about it. I’ve had different things said to me, I’ve been told to eff off, that no one cares, keep it to myself, it was discouraging at times. There was times where when I would think about it I would feel kind of afraid to. But I kept telling myself, and what I felt The Holy Spirit reminding me was that in the end, it’s not gonna be the people who were judging you for preaching on the throne, it will be God almighty. In the moment it’s so easy to fall into the whole “people-pleasing” thing, but what change will that make? As follows of Christ we are called to share the Gospel and the love of Jesus. Some things I was reminded of by The Holy Spirit was: (Like I said previously) it will be God sitting on the throne judging me when the day comes, and then what will it matter about what people thought of me You never know the seed God is using you to plant in the heart of someone else by simply sharing His word and being obedient to Him Even if everyone tries to tear it down, even if it helps and leads one person to Christ it was worth it. So, after a while of sharing it different post, one girl wrote out “I love this and I need to hear it, thank you” and that immediately hit my heart and I thought “this is why God led me to do it, because there was somebody who needed it”. And after that I saw a ton more people say stuff like they needed it or Amen and stuff. My point in writing all this is that you never ever know whose out there in desperate need to Hear what God has told you to share. Please obey Him when He tells you to do something, it may not make sense in the moment, it might be scary, but it is so so so worth it. After all the discouragement, God showed me what He was using it for. Father God I just ask that You would give us the strength and courage to be bold in our faith. To be obedient to You and Your word. To never let discouragement or the enemy scare us or break us down. Holy Spirit You are welcome here, lead us, save us, show us what to do and help us to do it for the Glory of God. Jesus, how wonderful You are. I love You. Thank You Holy Ghost, I Love You, I Trust You, I Respect You, I Need You, I Open My Heart Up Completely To You And God bless and I Pray protection over Israel and Jerusalem and Your people God in Jesus Name I Pray Amen.

Believe it or not.... there were MANY accepting people. UT is one of the most liberal universities in Texas and every person we walked up to were open and willing to be nice to us. I feel the lord told me to spread the gospel via social media, I’ve been procrastinating for a few days, finally made a video on tik tok, and I’m full of nerves, God told me to share the video to my personal social media’s and I was terrified to do so, but I did it! Satan is trying to get me fearful and scared but I’m going to keep pressing through for God, He knows the glory and the end result! Let me trust Him and share the gospel!

This video was for me. It is tough thinking that soon as you say Jesus your going to metaphorically get put on the cross. That is selfish of me to keep the Truth for myself because it’s convenient for me. I get so many opportunities and rarely have I made an attempt. It’s time for all Christians especially me to pray then go take action and do what God has called us to do.

People need the God we serve out there, and we’re each individually called to reach a certain people group that only WE can reach (which are most likely people that are most like you, but that doesnt mean you shouldnt minister to those that arent like you) because no one else is coming! Not all my friends listened but it was worth it. What helped me tell them was my zeal and love for them. I was concerned about their salvation. I couldn’t say nothing.
