Great review! This EQ is very Fabfilter(y), and even though I prefer Pro Q3, this actually has some cool features that I can see myself using.

Unfortunately it’s better then ff because of mixed phase. Ff dropped the ball with this and split EQ…

Great EQ. It looks a lot like FabFilter Pro-Q3.

i like you can copy other famous eq settings but what else is different than pro q 3

The dynamics section (especially with the range, up/down at the same time, and detection/relative bands with onset controls) allow for much more powerful processing than Pro Q3

@@Googahgee i tried demo of it i liked it the way it freeze the frequnciens so i can grab it more easily and perfect. one thing i think there should be added is the grab freq it should't go away when i choose 1 freq and i want some key biddings like if i go out to the side it make a lowpass or highpass

@@BFHPET I never saw this (KZbin app doesn’t show replies very well) but in the settings you can setup different filter types that a simple click (or a drag) based on frequency ranges, if that’s what you’re asking

@@Googahgee i meant on fabfilter q3 u can click and the left side it make a lowpass filter. but i want the grab frequencies dont dissapear because i always grab more than one freq i hope there is a key binding for that im whaiting to black friday to buy it

Mixed phase. Ff is a bit dated with how it treat phase. Not in a good way…

With a 20 band eq you can make any bell or any shape that you want so I still don't see the big fuss beihind this...

While your comment is right for me it’s all about speed of workflow and having those curves available at one click is a nice little bonus that gets used often. That and the above/beyond nature of the dynamics (I scoffed at that at first like wtf). I did make the switch I’m ngl
