Regarding tyre temps, another rule of thumb is a general rule of thumb is to increase starting pressures by 0.1-0.2PSI for every one-degree increase in track temperature. This is useful when adjusting pressures of a saved setup you have made at a specific previous known track temp. So 10degree change in track temp will mean 1-2 PSI increase or decrease required to stay on par. Maybe adjust by 1 PSI and tweak from there.

Just passing to testify that I’m playing ACC on my PS5, not planning to get a pc because, as a busy father of 3, I looove the convenience of console simracing. I like what we have now with ACC on PS5 but I really can’t wait even better experience/performances with next generation consoles. Just count the amount of Fathers who are SimRacers enthousiasts and you could get a pretty good estimation of the ACC/PS5-Xbox community 😅

Is this game playable on a pad?? Cause this was a very incitfull video, I've always wanted to get this game but have been told it's quite technical so I've steered away from getting it

People should not forget there is no "best setup" which makes you superfast. It mainly depends on your own driving style. Example: a driver makes a setup where he manages to turn the car around corners very smoothly. Anorther driver copies this setup but because he handles the brakes different he experiences understeer. It's a good setup, hyet not for driver number 2.

Having played ACC on ps5 with a wheel and controller my personal opinion is that using a controller feels impossible, whereas wheel is perfectly fine.

@@MomirsLabTech thanks, okay and how about someone like me who keeps up with the top split of racers in GT7? I have a wheel but honestly I beat my times set with a wheel on my controller lol... and I don't use the wheel as I don't have sufficient space or a proper rig so it's very uncomfortable. Again, thanks for the response though, that's two "no's" for the controller and 1 "yes" so far lol.

@@Gamer_Dan_79 if you're that good with controller then you might be able to make it work. Making controller work might require different tuning setups than what work on wheel as the sticks are just much more volatile than the wheel, I just wasn't patient enough to try to make it work. Lol

That's not true at all you can be very competitive on a controller. All you need to do is set it up correctly. Guys in my leafue run just as fast as the wheel guys.
