It's a really fun game I actually think it's more fun than Gran Turismo. I think we've all got to a point with Gran Turismo and I watch your videos on Gran Turismo as well and Plant and I've just about completed everything so this is good timing for me but it actually handles really well forget about all the bling, bling, graphics and all the other stuff that are going on in the game. If you actually look at the car dynamics and the way this game plays and yes, there are some unrealistic moments in the game, but the actual physics are good. So my advice is playing the game plan a little bit more like a simulation than an arcade game. So slow into the corners fast out that basic old chestnut that we all know. I use to double tap method as well.... The only time I need to really hard break is in the 90° turns or hairpins. That's a little bit different, but other than that the double tap works well

I have to say, the strat is to actually use the dirt if you can when doing turns. Especially when going up mountains going back and fourth on turns. There is some odd gripping thing that happens when you half two tires on road and two on dirt. Just test it out and you can feel the difference

YES, this is exactly how I'm driving in Motorfest, braking early to make those corners and power out. I really like the handling model and I'm using the Fanatec Gt DD Pro, loving it so far 😁

Coming from Forza in this last years, The Crew Motorfest is another planet. And i'm a irl racer and sim racer, i played Gran Turismo since i was 5 and raced in kart since 8, but The Crew Motorfest it's a mix between sim and arcade so wild lmao

Using the gutter when turning doesnt loose speed , you actually benefit from this in the crew motorfest unlike other racing games, never be afraid to use these When racing in rally or rallyraid , use the Scandinavian flick method to keeping your speed

In rally and rally rade it helps a lot to drift through a corner and come out with nos. In the categories, it is less useful to drive the cars like a hypercar. You are allowed to lose grip here sometimes.

I'm one of those old school players that place in first person view as in bonnet I don't like the income of you. I find that the field of view is too difficult to drive the car for me. I also find the hood view the fastest to play

I thought the same, the camera is too far away from the wheel. Even in The Crew 2 I usually drive in 1st person with a wheel, but it also feels a bit more controllable on hood view, specially when doing rally

I also see a lot of people say that assists make your car faster and others say it isnt but I havent been able to find many tests for it. I to only use ABS and I never even tried all the assists before. Something to check out maybe
