LOOT DIGGER IS USELESS! Here Are ALL THE Legendary Sets/Affixes YOU NEED!

For those of you who are newbies in the game and/or are just starting to collect legendaries: DO NOT LISTEN TO THE ADVICE OF GIVEN BY THIS VIDEO. THIS VIDEO WAS DONE BY SOMEONE WHO IS OBVIOUSLY VERY ADVANCED IN THE GAME AND IS NOT SPEAKING FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF A SOMEONE WHO IS BEGINNING THE LEGENDARY GRIND. So if you are just beginning this is what you should do: - Grind the “Kiss Me Kombi” and " Liberty Territory” races. - Discard all green and blue parts u get ( for parts, you’ll need them later) - Keep all purple and gold legendaries u get - If you get a purple part that has already the “Lucky” and “Gold Digger” affixes on it equip that. If u get one that has Lucky only, then affix Gold Digger. If u get one with Gold Digger, then affix Lucky - The step above also applies if u get any gold part BUT ONLY IF IT IS A LOOT DIGGER PART, if it isn’t then you’ll be wasting too much money on an affix that is not the right one for a non Loot Digger part.. If u have a gold part that is not Loot Digger but already has high level Gold Digger and Lucky on it, then equip that one but don’t waste money and parts on leveling up. - The idea is to grind the above mentioned two races while having equipped purple or golden parts that have Lucky and Gold Finger on it. - If during this process you are lucky enough to get all 7 Loot Digger golden parts , then invest the money and parts on affixing and leveling up Lucky and Gold Digger on them. - If you happen to get a full Loot Digger set, then you listen to what this video is saying to you . This is because Loot Digger will help you collect the sites he is advising you to collect. - If you happen to get a full Nitro Chemist set before getting a Loot Digger set, then you can stop there if you are not after a full Bucks Magnet or XP set. If you are still after a non-Nitro Chemist on that particular vehicle class, then keep doing what I explained above till you get the set you want. That’s it

Collecting legendaries is a hobby for me and I am obsessed with collecting all sets for all classes. That's also part of the game to play with it and I like to get what I paid for by having fun with everything in the game. Motorfest is such a very fun game for me.

It also works on the lootboxes, have it tested muliple times. You get better stuff out of boxes even when the coloure of box is not good

Hey ! Just 2 small things to add : For drift score, hothead is actually not necessary, it doesn't do anything to your score, hothead only increase the speed at which your multiplier increases during a drift but the multiplier is only applied at the END of a drift so it only matters if you break your combo before reaching the max multiplier. So if you are able to keep a drift from the start to the end of a score event or only break it at max multiplier, you won't get anything out of it and will be better off using 3x Drifty + 4x Pure to gain a bit more speed on some sections, going a bit further and getting a higher score in the end. if you can't keep the combo from start to finish tho ? Hothead is nice to have to get to the max combo faster and have less risk of losing score. another thing to add, the difference between AGP/plane with Score breaker and MOTOCROSS with score breaker is barely around 2/3% summit score for a "normal" player on the event in the worst case scenario, it goes as low as 1.2% on some slaloms and I'm actually yet to see a 3% gap but I'm assuming that it's possible at lower skill level with a Motocross. In the worst case with a 3x slalom summit, taking my current summit as an example, i'd lose 0.36% summit score with a 3% loss with that one slalom, multiply it by 3, you'd be looking at a 1.1% score difference between using 3x motocross or 3x the best available vehicle , be it AGP or Plane. So even with a 3% dif with 3 slalom and being extremely generous on the score loss from not going with the fastest, unless you are gunning for 1st place, Scorebreaker is fine on anything with at least 2 wheels or wings and you are better using it on whatever you like to drive the most than bother with the few points you'd lose as if they are what make or break your platinum ranking during a summit, you'd have way more to gain from doing any of the race slightly better. Edit : For fun, I tested the current slalom with a motocross and full SB + affixes. I got 151 218 points instead of 153 806, so we are looking at a 1.68% gap this week on the event and a 0.20% on my total summit score 🤣

No proof. Your score with the motocross doesn't appear on the standings as you already completed this activity so you can say what ever you want. It is impossible to know if it is true or not. But for the first part, hothead, I agree with you but I still wonder why they put Hothead in the game as it is useless, I don't get it.

I did it in the past in ST1, ST2, even monster truck and Demolition for fun . as for hothead, it does help people who crash I guess ? it's not entirely useless, I took it last drift summit for exemple for the 2 events going downhill xD

No, Loot Digger parts ARE necessary. You need them to increase your chance of getting Nitro Chemist and Scorebreaker sets faster when grinding.

Once you have a complete loot digger set with all affixes set to gold finger, the best place to grind out parts is the slalom activity at the small airport at the top of the map. It gives you 4-5 parts every 20-25 seconds. With an AGP car, Kiss me Kombi will give you about 24 parts every three minutes. The slalom gives you about 39 parts for every three minutes.

There's an other method in which you can get 18 parts per minutes and you make more money and xp which is pretty nice. Grinding one thing at the time is the worst way to progress in the game.

damn ! that's impressive ! you manage to do KmK 6 second faster than the current world record all while using a Loot digger set ? How do you manage to do that without being on the leaderboard ? More seriously, not counting the mistake you made with you loot numbers, you forgot an important thing, it being that feats have half the chance to give you a legendary compared to races. I had doubt so i went to retest the slalom you mentionned and the slalom only gives 3 parts with a fully affixed Hypercar and legend points goin' with it, even taking your wildly generous and inaccurate numbers this would still not make this slalom better than KmK, or even better than almost EVERY single race in the game available right now using a street tier1 vs AGP/HC on the slalom. I'd happily be proven wrong and would love it if you could explain how you manage to get such a fast clear time on KmK and how you manage to get 2 parts extra on the slalom than what I get with full loot digger with Goldfinger and Lucky maxed out on both parts and legend points.

My tip for Treasure sniffer: I have that full set on a street tier 2 acura, to which I just just travel across the map (I choose the acura, as it's an easy filter being under brand, and first brand is for me acura) Then I have the car I need parts for mapped as a favorite (example a drag car for which I still need to complete my set). Once I find the treasure and I am in front of it, I just use the 'fast fav' vehicle selector (R stick on PS) to switch to the car I need parts for (so you won't respawn somewhere on a close road either) Make sure the car you switch to have that lucky and goldfinger set (loot digger if possible) That way, you only need treasure sniffer on 1 vehicle category, and ignore it for any other (though plane could still be useful, if you'd prefer that tactic) Reply

This being said: I would assume the lucky, goldfinger and loot digger affixes are applied when you open the loot crate and not when the crate apears on the map, but I would think it would only be applied when you open the box with the car you drive currently

Definitely agreed.. hell my Taycan with scorebreaker before I had agp only netted like 1 or 2k less and there's some bullseye where I could use monster with scorebreaker and not have to switch to a boat at all

Disclaimer, I'm 10th on the current slalom but i did it for fun using a motocross to see how much I'd lose this week, I did it several time before, this week ? I went from 153 806 to 151 218, so a "massive" 1.68% point loss between Motocross and my Plane score... so we are looking at a massive 0.20% score loss on your TOTAL summit set 🤣

Not really, I thought that too But I don’t have score breaker for drift, and I’m getting the same scores that everyone else is getting. My high scores are usually within 20-30 thousand points of world record Score breaker only helps you for feats, it doesn’t do anything for races. As far as I know

I kinda disagree with the treasure sniffer sets being set to anything other than collector/sensor, as the whole purpose of the treasure sniffer set is locating crates but not necessarily opening them. I get that yours is a hybrid build to where you don't have to switch to another vehicle to get the most out of it but it's most optimal to switch to another vehicle without the treasure sniffer when actually opening them.

Once the locations are known, you really don’t need any help finding them anymore. You know exactly where to look, you zoom in on the map and then go get it. Searching really isn’t a thing and the purpose of treasure (once you have your sets) is to get XP for the explorer timeline. So it’s nice to have a set for each vehicle type to maximize the xp gains and minimize the amount of time spent. Switching cars works too but it takes longer and the treasure sniffer affix is pretty useless when you know where all the locations are. At least that was my thinking. :)

I scrap all treasure sniffers .. theyre useless cause if you're treasure hunting you can restart the game every time and zoom in/out on the treasure spawning locations. This gives you treasure more often and you can fast travel to only purole or gold boxes if you want as well. Loot digger is more useful in this scenario but becomes useless after getting all nitrochemist and scorebreaker sets

Only category id recommend having it on is rally raid on the Porsche 954 if u want to get parts for boats and planes. Id go to one of 4 spots that boxes spawn, switch to the plane, get the loot and close game. Then id go to the same spot and it would spawn there 4/5 times. When it doesn’t do that, i go to the other 3 locations and it would spawn there. Got all planes, boats and demo categories sets within 12h during a weekend. A truly busted parts method, maybe even better than the pre patched peacock hills tbh

I think maybe you would want to re-qualify what you're saying there especially to players who are new and confused about what the legendary parts even do, or why they're so important. you are somebody who is looked up to for advice and knowledge of the game and you just told the people coming into the game to treat the one thing that can help them the most as unnecessary and useless? Give the newbies a break, lol, I might be a little bit biased in this situation as I was someone who was lucky and got a loot digger as my first active set just as you mentioned several times. I Love what you are doing keep up the good work these discussions are necessary By the way can you translate what the treasure sniffer does when it increases the treasure density I understand the Ubisoft developers are in France and the sniffers job description increases density might be crystal clear for them but when I have opened treasure chests I don't have good results like I have when I open them with a loot digger

Honestly, you don’t even need the set bonus, just having gold parts is enough to get you Plat, unless you’re aiming for a high spot for bragging rights So yes, for a regular player loot digger is useless as the regular player ain’t getting a good plat rank even with the parts

It does help tho, I can and did Platinum in the past using only stock cars, not a single perf mart equipped and only 200 legend points. It doesn't mean everyone can do it. The sets do help quite a lot to compensate for mistakes you may make during your runs. Tho yeah, Slipstream give you way more improvement than a full set for sure

@@slunksters you don’t even need slipstream for plat, as long as you learn the route and drive well you can usually get at the very least top 10k I usually place around 6k and i don’t use set bonus or slipstream (too lazy to farm sets and don’t have any friends who play this game) and I’m pretty sure i’m not even good at the game I’m not saying the set bonus/slipstream/shortcuts don’t help, i’m just saying they aren’t necessary

@@slunksters pretty sure we both have average skill level in a wasteland of people who are ass at racing games I can start last, and wait like 10 seconds and still place top 10 usually, most often i place top 5 and occasionally (like 5/10 races) i can get podium, this is the equivalent of a 50/50 K/D ratio in fps (tho it’s been so damn long since Ive played competitive in fps that my reaction time has degraded to the point that i’d have to train it back up, since you need sub 1 second reactions in fps)

I usually do “Kiss me Kombi” Lucky and loot drop legend points maxed out I usually get 5-10 legendary parts every 20 minutes It’s also a good money grind at the same time. I usually just do 10 races at a time. Putting clean bonus on every time. I’ll get 300-400k every 10-15 races

Lootdigger helps combined with youre points on loot and make the difficulty high. And of course as in every crew game….grind. A little extra on too is that you can win legendary parts in the summits then and now.

No, the goldfinger parts have the same legendary chances as the "normal" race parts you'd get without it, it's 25% at max legend points/lucky. I did the math SEVERAL time since launch, it has been the same since the 4th week of season one, still is the same in season 2.
