I also don't hear an "old frail" voice here. I hear a voice with exceptional technique used with intelligence. Few other singers can float like she can in the passaggio.

There are always the arm chair critics who whine that older singers should retire and have nothing left to give. What they don't realize is that they have plenty to give. Dame Kiri's voice is instantly recognizable....and people were willing to pay to hear her sing up until she retired...and she was happy to give her best and to take that money.
