Eijiro Kirishima (切きり島しま鋭えい児じ郎ろう Kirishima Eijirō?), also known as the Sturdy Hero: Red Riot (剛健ヒーロー 烈怒頼雄斗レッドライオット Gōken Hīrō Reddo Raiotto?), is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero. Eijiro is a boisterous and outgoing guy with a fondness for the concept of manliness, often using the terms "manly" and "unmanly" to describe things and people he does or doesn't like. Those who showcase a noble, brave, and/or determined attitude tend to emotionally move him to tears, quickly earning his complete admiration, respect, and friendship. Similarly, he will call out traits that are the opposite of that, such as cowardice and dirty play. He is also a big fan of Crimson Riot, a retro hero that he takes inspiration from, including personal values and his own hero name. Kirishima thinks of Bakugou as "manly", which is the biggest sign of respect from him. Kirishima is often shown trying to befriend Bakugou and inviting him to class outings. Bakugou respects Kirishima and calls him by his name. Kirishima is the one Bakugou sees as an equal and, according to Midoriya, the only one who could save him without his pride being hurt.

Kirishima has always been one of my favorite characters in MHA. His Quirk isn't big and flashy, but crazy good nonetheless. His power is what you get when you just focus on the fundamentals and master them. Powerful, but understated. Not to mention his character. He is the kid at school everybody wants to be friends with, and he wants to be friends with everybody. Like his Quirk, powerful but understated. Great character.

If there is one thing you can love about BnHA, it's that nearly everyone feels like a main character. That so many characters received so much fleshed out backstories, designs, abilities and motives really sells that this story isn't just about Deku alone and that every member of the class really are striving to become heroes. They aren't just stepping stones to Deku's story, each has their own path that they will go down.

I've always felt that most of the cast exemplifies one of the common heroic archtypes. Deku is the Symbol ala Superman/Spiderman. Bakugo is the Champion ala Wolverine/Batman the guy whose not the nicest but you really want him in the fight on your side. and Kirishima is the Defender, Colossus/The Brit/Winter, the guy whose there to take the beatings so everyone else can do the saving.

Probably because people look for op covers rather than original songs based off the shows and characters. Part of the reason being the songs used to sounds like summaries or a bunch of references put into a song format, or at least from what I used to listen years ago. I listened to both, but I still preferred just hearing covers till I found artists like Divide, Fabvl, and many others.

Honestly? Because he doesn't stick to a style. For a musician to gain fans and remain popular they have to stick to a style. Or be shown attached to official projects. Jonathan Young turns everything he touches into a flavor of rock and holds true to his vocal style. Nate shifts his style while also maintaining his sound. DM never sticks with a style OR sound. I cannot stand screaming music. Yet often you come across that in DM's catalogue. Screaming music is more or less a guarenteed ticket to extreme low numbers. One or two songs? you'll get away with it. You go much past that, worse yet you do screaming in a song that feels out of place, and you just killed your potential fanbase. DM took far longer for me to give a chance precisely due to the volume of screaming songs. If he literally deleted ALL OF THEM and redid them with his singing voice? It would help and go a long way to fixing this. Musicians/groups that insist on screaming aren't just shooting themselves in the foot, they are taking a shotgun tot heir own stomach, that is how few people honestly like that vocal style. Lets move beyond that and add into it DM's rapping. That ALSO doesn't help. Like I said, pick a style and stick to it. Most people who like rap, genuinely don't like hard rock or punk...and vice versa. This only causes more chances for people to peel off and go to other musicians. Being diverse in music is BAD. It always has been. For name recognition you have to pick a genre and stay in it. You don't get to be diverse until after you 'make it'. Starting out that way is only guarenteed to ruin first impressions. Someone checks DM...goes "ew, rap" they close it and move on. There won't be a second chance. DM doesn't have much rap, but it is there. However...if they happen to find that one song...bam. Lost a potential fan. Same with screaming, same with hard rock, same with punk rock, etc, etc. Pick a genre and stick to it. Diversify after you have a huge following.

out of all the mha hero's i think i have the most respect for kirishima honestly. he has a very simple quirk that doesnt extend to anybody else and he literally throw's his body through hell to keep rising up to be the strongest shield. at some point he's literally going to be an absolute juggernaut. Same, he is relatable since everyone has felt that once in their life, they could have done something but froze. I am similar, I sometimes get into fights against bullies to help others, but it often leads to me being hurt and bruised. But I know doing nothing is just as bad as being the bully.

The thing that makes this kind of music so hard to do is the fact you have to stay in character while composing the instrumental and while writing then singing the lyrics. Well...called it for myself. Okay so now i finished the whole song and let me say...Uh...Well kirishima is my favorite character because of his backstory and the things that happened in the current arcs. Because of just everything. And he decided one day to change his whole “going at life”. But yet his “body still cracks” and little lights of the past shine through. That’s why i love him. Because i have come a long way, but still struggle on parts in my life. Divide you made something that got me emotional and reminded me that it’s normal. But never give up, you’re gonna be stuck in your own head here and there. But the people around you and you yourself can make you “the man/woman” you will be.
