Eugeo is literally the male version of Asuna in a way. Kirito in the LNs never grew close to anyone but the friends he has currently, and sister from Arc 2 onwards. Then he's stuck in a world for over 2 years, growing up spending every single day with this guy, all for him to fall at the end. It's heart breaking. R.I.P Eugeo. Best boi. 🕊 Stay. Cool. PS - You're right. We're not over with Laughin Coffin.... heh...heh...heh. oh boy. Time to start the best final arcs in SaO!

im pretty sure those skills that quinella uses from 1:26 to 2:24 are, in order, kiritos, asunas, and kleins sword skills that they used in Aincrad. i dont necessarily think quinella knows about the others besides kirito, but i think this was a way to reinforce the fact that kirito is fighting the actual SYSTEM itself.

This was a great season finale. amazing visuals with the battles, emotional moments and one hell of a cliffhanger that makes you want to watch the next season as soon as possible. It was a nightmare to wait for the new season to come out when it first aired

Now you know why I said reona’s vocals gave me ptsd in a previous episode, this can be considered just as a mid season finale though, as the real shit starts going down now! Next arc is seriously good, also Sao is not over after the next arc either, another arc is still being written , they have made two progressive movies which does the first arc ( aincrad arc) from asuna’s perspective, this time without time skips and they are a really good ( more will be released there too) , they have promised the next movie will be a original movie like ordinal scale though, probably to bridge season 4 and season 5 when it does come out

I have to say for both Quinella and her servants death after what he did to her to me actually remind me of that scene from the show Batman beyond, where Batman and Bruce’s Bat armor suit we’re facing the villainess Inque and right, when she was going to finish them off she gets grab by her partner who was unstable by her power he gave him because he wanted to be with her, and he didn’t want to be abandoned by her so those two almost ended up colliding until she threw him off and got weaker because of it and she melted by the water Batman threw at her. I just wanted to mention that because it felt familiar to me.

Also, this was a damned important milestone for SAO fans to see. Now, Asuna has lost her Best Girl, YuukiZekken, and Kirito has lost his Best Boy, Eugio from Rulid. I sincerely hope most of us have had beautiful, pai ful past experiences with anime characters we loved losing someone dear, and it making them stronger for thoer future. Yeah, it suck damn bad to see a great character gone, but it's fiction. Done right, those deaths are amazing AND horrible.

DAMN IT. I may not be the biggest fan of this half of Alicization, but this finale is OP AF. I could rewatch it 3x in a row. Plus, that is one of the sickest cliffhangers I've ever seen. I remember my first watch ending, and I had to sit back and let it all sink in. Eugeos dead. Quinella had a plan to leave the Underworld. Someone set up the Code 871 to Quinella's pleasure. There is the "Final Load Test" coming, which will destroy the world. Cardinal is dead, the greatest ally. Alice got badly hurt. Powers and gear from the past can be Incarnated. Someone is attacking Rath. Wtf is a LC member doing there? And...wtf happened to a Fluctlight that received a power surge?!? Damn, SAO is FUUUUN af, boy!
