I had this sense about Dennis for some time. This was mainly from a faith based movie that he did about a private pilot who had to pilot a larger aircraft in weather because the pilot had died. This was where I began to see the change in him. My first experience of Dennis was in "The Right Stuff." The character he was playing was a little perverse then, but this last one was a real turn around. His performance was spot on. He did the role as one who has experienced something like this.

I was raised as a Jehovah witness I w1s in my 20’s when I met a couple that went to a local church they came to our home to talk about Jesus. I struggled with what to believe I prayed to God to help me what he wanted me to do. This very night a sleep in my bed I woke up to a very bright light I could make out a figure in the light as he came closer to my bed I moved back in my bed Jesus walked to the end of my bed without saying anything I knew Jesus Loved me . I felt that going to this new church was the right thing to do. As a small child I would pray every night to keep my family save. I Believe that he heard my prayers and helped me all my life.I love the Lord Jesus he the King of the world.Amen I pray that you to will met Jesus and feel his love ❤️ it just life changing.

My Mom came to my house with a JW friend tried to change my mind I told them you will never change my mind. I still had a relationship with my Parents even though I was not invited to baby showers, it did bother me at first but I Loved the Lord Jesus I got over it thru Jesus. My Dad died at 58 massive heart attacks in his sleep , I worked as a nurse in a Doctors office I was told by one of my sisters that I killed my Dad . I shut her off . My Mom came to church with my family when my spouse was baptized but did not come when I did. Don’t get me wrong I still spent time with her we just never brought it up. I was always there for her to the day she died. We went on trips together and shopping , lunch together. As far as. My siblings I don’t see them I have a family four children and two step daughters I feel like it’s best if I stay away from them . They hate me for the most part I am fine with out all the hate. My God and Jesus loves me.

I really enjoyed this conversation when Mr. Dennis talks about the relationship with God...listening to God as he wants us to have a relationship with him how much God loves us i get that...A lone time is required by us to have a sensitive approach to fill that void. The purpose of our whole life is wasted on other issues when we should be feeling God's presence around us all time. Not everyone can get that their too distracted material, goals and luxuries. On the hand others are role playing , many are going through a painful level of sickness....what God is saying he knows ur pain struggle and difficulties..But we are lost like in the wilderness the way home is on God's path..So walk their is no rush..

Have always loved Dennis Quaid. Glad he is a brother in Christ. He did a fantastic job as Reagan. He captured Reagans sprit and the little twinkle of the eye. I cried for at least 15 mins after the movie and sat and thought about the memories of Reagan. I'm 76 so I was lucky enough to see him live on the campaign trail. Thank God for his life.

Fantastic actor, fantastic president he played. I grew up in Canada in the 80’s and I always admired Reagan, he did an awful lot for world peace and protected Canada with his strong protections of allies. The film is difficult to find up here! I think it's a great thing that Dennis overcame all his addictions. It's funny though, most of us are not addicts and find our faith of love with a normal balance. The addict however, seems to replace the addiction to religion, and overloads onto all of us of their perception. Congratulations on your recovery!

I 'think' I've watched most of Mr. Quaids movies, and if I remember correctly (looking back) his characters always seemed to me; to have a spiritual aura about them or an honesty if you will. I did'nt notice that at the time but I sort of connected with his characters for some reason. This reminds me of "A soldier can change his uniform, but that soldier can never change his heart". I have total respect for honesty to one's self, in this case, Dennis Quaid.

I'm Belgian and visited the US in 1992 . One place I remember is the former governor's residence of California that wasn't used anymore. The guide showed us an antique bath tub on legs , the nails were painted apparently by one of R. Reagan's kids . I loved Dennis Quaid as an actor, glad he's not spoiled by Hollywood .
