It shouldn't even be debatable. Throwing the ball in that situation should not have even been a consideration. You just can't do that! Falcons had no timeouts. Falcons' biggest enemy at that point is the clock. Running the ball keeps the clock running. There is always a risk when the ball is in the air. Running the ball had the minimum risk PLUS it runs the clock. This is a NO-BRAINER!!! Barkley is not the goat. Philly coaching is the goat.
