Watch Kirk in "Lonely Are The Brave" - the scene where he has to get the horse up an include on the top of a mountain. No stuntman. Could genuinely have been killed at any moment. Unreal bravery. Or when he storms the castle in "The Vikings". Totally athletic and without fear. A real man's man. Rest in Peace
