@@nixongasmo5114 what do you mean by "iconic"?) hammett always was a bad guitarist and it is a fact, his solos are lame, cause it is only some wah put on pentatonic scales. if you want to know, what solos are hard and iconic, you should check for some videos with eddie van halen, marty friedman, dimebag darrell and others. THEIR solos are iconic, not the hammett’s lame wah things. and don’t even try to give arguements like "but he was such a humble guy🥺🥺🥺". I don’t fucking care how humble he was, his playing was OK in early 90’s, but his playing wasn’t even GOOD for some time. kirk is bad guitarist, and I’m saying it as a Metallica fan. james always was better than kirk and haven’t seen people that would argue with this. cheers.

I know he's done too many improvised solos over the years, but I like this one cause it's not the typical A minor pentatonic improvisation. and it sounds quite cool and different from the kirk style, if i had never seen this part of the concert before i would have sworn that he is not playing it

Right?! This is actually crazy. Its not very technical or complicated like his usual work, but its so different from his normal stylistic identity and sounds so good 👌 It almost has a power metal vibe like old Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Halloween, Demons and Wizards. I'm not the biggest Kirk Hammett fan anymore but when I first started playing guitar 18 years ago at 9 years old, he was my idol. Absolutely no disrespect to him at all, I just feel like as musicians we're always evolving and with that, our taste changes along with our influences. But....I had forgotten how Incredible Hammett is when he is in his element and allowed to just rip. His nuanced perfection and versatility. Funny enough, its why he was my idol in the first place. I had forgotten until you just pointed it out. Im actually almost in tears with all the memories this brings back. Times were so much more simple when I was young. So thanks for reconnecting me to my roots brotha 🙏 I won't forget again.

какая же жухня, а люди в комментах лижут хэммету яйца. у него есть нормальные соляки, но их можно по пальцам пересчитать, потому что большая часть из них- это жухлейшая возня из пентатоники и квакушки, да и сам кирк постоянно перетягивает бенды, козлиные вибратто исполняет и тупо рассинхронит. о его атаке на риффах даже смысла нет говорить, в этом плане он адски хуже хэтфилда, который является мастером по риффам. а хэммет помимо косяков, названных ранее, ещё и постоянно грязнит в своей игре. и это не лажа, это слабый уровень, так как например даймбэг даррелл иногда лажает, но в целом его уровень шикарен: он хорош как в рубке, так и в поливании различных соло, которые он сочиняет в миллиарды раз лучше хэммета, и этот факт неоспорим, так как даррелл в 17 лет умывает в труху и молодого, и старого хэммета, так что не нужно говорить, что хэммет когда то был в молодости хорош, а потом он сжух из за возраста. на этом всё, а фанаты хэммета могут дальше обсасывать его, вместо того, чтобы узнать, че такое нормальная гитарная музыка и серьезный уровень. а серьезный уровень это такие легенды, как нуно бетенкур, эдди ван хален, даймбэг даррелл, джеймс хэтфилд, джо сатриани, стив вай, гари мур и многие другие, которых я уважаю также, как и ранее перечисленных. всем удачи в развитии гитарного слуха.
