2:56 even in a alternate universe. Spock will always be there to help Kirk 💙x💛

The Apple - Spock is hit by poison darts and struck by lightning. A Private Little War - Spock gets shot through the chest. Obsession - Spock is enveloped by a deadly vampire cloud. Episodes which prove that Spock is a shit-magnet. (Thank you for some awesome video clips!)

Luckily for Spock, the vampire cloud has a distaste for Vulcan blood

Journey to Babel is one of the most perfect Star Trek episodes where the A, B and even C stories are intertwined and affect each other. And it contributes heavily to Trek lore.

poor spock is constantly taking hits

But, to be fair, I think he would rather be the one taking the hit rather than Kirk taking the hit.

Obsession is such an under rated episode. The scene between Kirk Spock and Bones is excellent.

Sometimes I wonder if it was hinted that Spock was depressed or thought of suicide. Especially when I watch the first clip, it feels like a boiling point for Kirk to react so strongly.

The irreverent familial banter between Kirk and his friends is one of the core elements that has endeared TOS to fans for generations.

I pay homage to A Private Little War. It inspired my hobby writing for a few years. The Nona character became my adopted woman warrior, and the Hill people became my make believe adoptive tribe for my main character. Thank you Nona and the Hill people for great inspiration.

Taken in these small clips, without the distractions of the show, it feels different. I still hold that the depiction of daily routine aboard the Nostromo in Alien, is what I'd expect. The ISS drives this home, for me. Day to day routine. Nothing more or less.
