Mr Cameron, May 25th I locked eyes with you walking out of the gymnasium at Desert Christian academy. You were with your wife and you were there for your nephew who was graduating because my niece was in his class. You sat one row away from where I sat and I really wanted to meet you but I didn't want to interrupt your time with your nephew and your family. It would have been an absolute honor to meet you and I was pretty bummed. My nephew Weston said that he had actually met you a few years back and was going to introduce me to you but by the time we found your nephew's table you were already gone. I've watched so many of your videos not only on KZbin but the movies. Your faith for the Lord is so strong and so amazing to see and I've learned so much from you. If you're ever in the desert again it would be absolutely amazing to meet you.

Kirk..you won't believe how much I'm loving your shows! My husband died a year ago and now I'm waiting to die. I'm on hospice...not sure how much longer, but I am so filled with excitement. Can't wait to see Jesus and my husband. I loved the book you wrote about your salvation. I really needed this today. You have NO IDEA how much I needed this. Thank you, Kirk and Danny. This morning, I woke up hurting so deeply that I just wept bitterly and sobbed heavy sobs before even getting out of bed. I was missing my husband so much that the pain just consumed me. I lost my precious husband - my best friend - last year. He died suddenly and unexpectedly not long after we had gotten married. This man was my dream come true after many years of abuse and rejection. I thought God was answering all of my prayers. Marrying Gerald was the happiest day of my life. Then, only three short years later, tragedy came and he died. I felt like I died too. In a way, I did. I will never be the same. I have never felt such crushing pain in all of my life. My husband was also my full time caretaker, as I battle a devastating chronic illness as well. The grief and loss on top of an already unbearable and debilitating illness is just too much. I have felt hopeless and angry, consumed with sorrow, and some days unable to even function. BUT.. like you mentioned in this video, I keep pressing on and say the same thing that Peter did. Where else would I go? I stick with God every day, even though my heart broke so deeply that I wanted to walk away and just give it all up. I feel the same as you, though - I choose to stick with God no matter how black the night and no matter how deep the valley. I believe there has to be a reason. I pray that some day God will bring me up out of this deep, dark pit so that my story can inspire someone also.

I lost my husband 5 years ago. I thought I wasn’t going to make it. We had been married 35 years. But God has walked with me every minute of everyday, He has been faithful and I have never felt alone. I am getting better everyday but it has been the most difficult journey I’ve ever been through.
