Love your hunt video, made my first trip to hunt Zimbabwe in 1987, when I was 37. Ended up going to hunt 2 more times, plus 2 more camping trips all over South Africa. Zimbabwe and Namibia. 26 years since my last trip to Namibia, now turning 75 and wish I could go one more time but can't afford it. Still have my trophies in the house, giving such great memories

Coming from a native South African here stop killing our animals, we stopped hunting tens of thousands of years ago and collected live stock like cattle which became our currency before invention of money. We consider these animals sacred and precious especially the big 5. Living and sharing land with these creatures is an existing practice long before America was even a country so respect it. I'm not even surprised because Europeans hunted lions out of extinction in South of Europe and made lions fight in barbaric fashion in ancient Rome. Europeans hunted mammoths out of extinction and European came up with the inhumane concept of a zoo. Hunting was when we were as a humanity in desperation now it is done out of greed, blood thirst, vanity and abuse of food chain. shame of you.
@dewetvisser30395 ай бұрын
@@justrandom4304 Personally, I don't hunt the big five, because I hunt for meat. And I hunt once a jear, this allows me to harvest up to 4 animals a year in a sustainable way. I will get my meat from hunting or I can get it from a farm where the animals are enclosed and can't walk freely. So I think hunting is a morally better than the alternative.

As a hunter, living in South Africa, this video is everything I despise about international hunters. No, we do not hate and kill baboons everywhere we go. Some of our farms we try and protect them. We do not miss half our shots as we respect the animals enough to make sure of the shot, to make sure of the kill. We do not to leave them dying into the veld. As on 43.05 mins into the video, we do not sit on our kill like we own them, we respect what we harvest and what it provides to our family. To sit on the animal that will feed my family like that is the ultimate disrespect. This is what happens when KZbinrs drops by to do some killing in Africa. This was not hunting, this was shooting, Badly. As for the clickbait picture thumbnail for this video, well, that is just sad…. And definitely not anything you shot in South Africa……

what do you do to contribute to conservation here in south africa
@justrandom43045 ай бұрын
@@criticza9207 Are you slow? 1) I said we stopped hunting so we strictly stick to cows, goats & chickens. It is frowned upon to eat wild life . 2) I just said we share land & respect their territory, these animals are smart they respect ours too . 3) Our believes that they are sacred animals has us naming our clans & spirituality after these animals like the freaking Chinese do with material arts styles/forms. 4) we have deliberately formed agricultural landscapes for bees to produce honey in baobab trees and we let elephants, giraffes a like take from fruitful trees. If you knew anything about us you'd know we don't harass these animal with safaris, this safari thing came with colonial nonsense. And these animals reproduce just fine without our help, nature will take its' course. Best believe till this day our grandparents teach us about the migration patterns of wild life especially birds and we are taught killing small creatures such as bats or frogs is bad luck (ironic because the punishment of eating bats was covid19 in Asia) we know which animals are poisonous to the body and soul. In rural areas they still live in mud huts this is the most eco-friendliest form of building on the planet. We use cow dunk, clay, fallen branches and dry glass so we don't cut down trees to build. There are cases of our traditional healers helping sick wild life and they know how to create anti-venom solutions. You know the funny thing is that I speak a dialect of the nguni language spoken in the lion king so Swahili is similar to Setswana we all say " a gona mathata" when we hunted we thanked the dead animal for being our source of food and prayed for it's easy return to the earth - our definition of the circle of life. A few recommendation of movies in which Europeans made fun of our ancient ways in Mr Bones & The Gods must be crazy. Go watch these movies and have a good laugh.
