Thank you Kirk. I have been watching Stream Yard tutorials, and "playing" around with it before I pay for a subscription. In the past, I have used Quick Time Player on my Mac for video taping. Needing more options for presentation, I will be moving into Stream Yard. I appreciate your tutorials, and have found a couple of your You Tube Channels as well. Your encouraging words are a blessing! I do have lighting I attach to my laptop, but I have never used a microphone, other than the one one my computer. How much of a game changer is this? Are you using a stand alone? If you think investment in a mic is wise, are you familiar with FIFINE USB Studio Recording Microphone Computer Podcast Mic for PC, PS4, Mac with Mute Button (Amazon)?

I’m also a proponent of using what you have and saving to make the right next purchase. That said the MV7+ is both xlr and usb so it’s a future proof investment. @@kirkrnugent Thank you for your input. That IS a financial investment, which means it will be in the future. I wish the mic could fit onto a stand instead of the arm that swings over 😉. Just listening to some other videos of your for KZbin. So much wisdom! I had begun strong, but then had Covid numerous times, with significant lung and cognitive issues and ended up being one of those who fizzled out. Ended up doing quite a bit of writing, and now will combine the two. It appears I can post a video and then attach pdfs to go with them, which will "fill in the blanks" and hopefully allow for print out, study and personal use. Are you familiar with the feature on You Tube?

I love StreamYard. I use it for all my "talking head" (with screen recording) videos and dropped my Camtasia renewal. It is powerful, yet so intuitive that I can walk away from the program for a week or so and jump right back in without a hitch. And where else can you join in on a weekly livestream with the two original founders?

Question: when I enable the recording feature and remove one of my broadcasts. Do I get the final recording with the whole video or do I get as many recordings as feeds I have at the end?

Thanks for the comment and support of the channel. Your recording isn't affected by adding or removing broadcast destinations so you will get a full recording from the time you go live or hit record to the time you end. If you also enable Isolated Video and Audio you'll get individual video and audio files for the duration of time each guest or camera was connected to the studio. Hope that makes sense, thanks again for the support.
