How come you are not using any of curries haldi powder?? As we do?? North Kanara Konkani people?

We do use haldi powder in some recipes like fish or kashaya. But it's purpose in our cuisine is more as anti-fungal/ medicine than for flavor. I think North Karnataka cuisine is influenced more by North Indian cuisine, where turmeric is used as a flavouring agent. 🙏😊❤️
