Out of curiosity, have you tried unagi in Japan? I always thought it wasn't that good, but then tried it in Japan and WOW! What a difference!

Kabayaki is the most popular way to prepare eel. It is coated with teriyaki sauce and grilled slowly over an open flame. Then, it is served on a bed of cooked rice with eel coated with teriyaki sauce. If you ever get a chance to come to Japan, try kabayaki eel. When ordering, "uwan" or "uwan" is the common name for the menu.
