I'm reminded of a couple of examples that actually did change, and did complete 180s to what they had been known for: Malcolm X, and former Governor of Arkansas George Wallace. Malcolm X was an avowed black supremacist that was also Muslim. He changed his views after realizing Dr. Martin Luther King was right -- and said as much in interviews before his death. Governor George Wallace was racist at a time in the South when racism was not nearly as scorned as it is now. He was the governor, who, in the 1950s, rejected the Supreme Court ruling in Brown v Board of Education and would not allow the "Little Rock Nine" to be integrated into an all-white school. George Wallace even blocked the doors to the school as the National Guard escorted those children into the school. Later, George Wallace realized what he believed was wrong, and attended a black Arkansas Southern Baptist church until his death. He was later recorded as saying, "I was wrong for what I believed" in an interview. The point is, people who make up lies and hate for no reason, can change. I just pointed out two famous examples of that happening. But at the same time, it, like addiction, alcoholism, or any other mental illness or struggle, will only change when people who suffer from hate and lie about people want to change. The second part is that people who do those things have to be genuine and sincere when they do change. Otherwise, it shows even more their true colors, and at the same time, destroys trust. The problem we have is that way too many people believe things that just aren't so. And as a result, lose whatever tenuous grasp on reality they may have had at one time.

A point about Silvervale standing up against the Twitter brainrot during the Hogwart's Legacy debacle; It kinda bugged me that even when she was calling out Twitter idiots and standing up for herself, she still had to be vague and virtue signal that she was LGBT friendly. I've always had faith in what I like to call the self evident thing. If people are too lazy to do any level of basic research on allegations. If Kirche is Canadian, then it's understandable that people making accusations don't know their political alignments... edit: She's American Canadian politics differs from American in terms of liberalism. Canadian Left and Right, is more akin to American Center Left and Far Left. This means Democrats and Liberals are more similar, but Republicans and Conservatives are different. edit: I will note the extreme similarities with over-promising things and under-delivering. Also Obama wasn't too bad for his administration because he felt more center-left than a far left like the Clinton/Biden administration. Additionally... I always felt like no one truly tries to understand politics, and tries to EDUCATE people on it... It's always usually someone trying to make up lies or stretch their truth, in order to collect voters or followers... Very rarely do you see some try to educate the populace. This is why I'm the type of person who prefers the words of archivists and historians, over popular trending 'celebrities' when it comes to conveying factual stuff. Scientists aren't 100% right most of the time these days since things changes so rapidly with research too (some of them chases clout by putting up faux research papers btw). Would be nice if human society actually got their butts into gear and actually cooperate and evolve society so we can colonize the stars, and not turn the planet into our coffin.

On Silvervale's situation, I still believe she did it to herself, with that group she ran with and the fans she cultivated. She ran a number of cancel mobs along with the rest of the whore house within VShojo. She also supported many left political opinions fairly openly even if she did not consider them political; that group desires to make everything political, so there you go. Then that mob came for her, and she lost a chunk of her fan base. The evidence to support this, is when she, Nyanners, and Veibae all left, the whore moniker went with them, along with the major aspects of VShojo's drama engine. KSON basically rebuilt their reputation with mostly foreign talent.

@@TheMonotone1 From what I learned of, when the cohort decided they didn't like something, they went after it on social media. The Nux situation brought it to light, but I heard of other ones. Just don't know them off the top of my head. Otherwise, it is due to her making a fairly public display of support for the three known trouble makers within the old VShojo. Birds of a feather and all that. The only controversy that I am relatively certain of, is the accusations of skin walking. She used to do dance videos, but then stopped. Someone brought up skin walking, and I have no idea where that one went. I know she denied it, but I cannot find any more videos of her dancing.

I liked swedish PC Gamer alot growing up. But they clearly had a strong bent towards wokeism. Which is true for my society in general. I do however believe that there is a difference between "Big Picture" leftism that is more concerned with economics and infrastructure and generally isn't ready to just let an unfettered profit motive lead to whatever end result it will. I don't want optimists to be in charge for the ultimate fate of mankind as a species. But all this petty drama is just counterproductive and stupid. I do think that Kirsche truly means well as a person, but I do think she can be fairly reactionary about the news she consumes and the positions she holds. I truly believe that when seeing or acting with individuals/people Kirsche will be kind and thoughtful and understanding, but when dealing with larger systems or perceived transgressions she fails to analyze the efficacy of the information and sources she consumes. The other problem is people assuming the worst with Kirsche instead of attempting to explain why some claims or sources might be ill-informed. People attack people for points without understanding. If no one explains why some of her statements are incorrect and potentially hurtful, then to her all that she’ll experience is the media she consumes, and inversely an angry mob that only ever approaches her with hostility and anger. The rule should always be attack systems and not people. There’s a reason why Kirsche holds her beliefs and if they are wrong, hurtful, or disproportionate, then the people who care so much about these issues should take at least a second to formulate a response that explains why, instead of assuming the worst possible motives. There is billions in funding for many far right positions and caring about the issues this causes takes more effort then just yelling and chastising
